I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages, including puppies and seniors, as well as small animals, reptiles, and farm animals. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable following detailed care instructions, whether that means reinforcing basic training, administering medications, or providing extra support and calm care for older pets. Because I work from home, I’m able to give pets plenty of supervision, companionship, and consistency throughout the day rather than long stretches alone. I treat every pet as if they were my own and prioritize their comfort, routine, and safety while you’re away. I’m excited to meet your fur babies!

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I try to prioritize maintaining their normal routine and environment to minimize stress. I’m diligent about following all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, litter box or enclosure maintenance, medication administration, and any specific preferences your pet has. I love to have meaningful interactions, whether that’s playtime, enrichment, gentle companionship, or just being a quiet presence for pets who prefer their space. I’m always attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels and will communicate promptly if anything seems off. I will also treat your home with respect by keeping spaces clean and tidy. And i’m happy to bring in packages, water plants if requested (I’m a plant mom too!) and ensuring doors and gates are secure. If it’s your preference, you’ll receive regular updates with photos and notes so you can feel confident your pet and home are being well cared for while you’re away.

Mackenzie is absolutely amazing with cats! She was patient and attentive with my senior cats. My cats were comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for the entire time. Communication was excellent, and I had complete peace of mind knowing my cats were in such capable hands. From following feeding routines perfectly to giving extra attention and care, it was clear how much she genuinely cares about my cats. She sent updates throughout the time she watched them and included pictures. She is reliable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again—highly recommend!

Dates de la garde
I work from home full time, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and allows me to provide consistent supervision and attention throughout the day. I’m available for boarding any day of the week and am home the majority of the time. I do attend yoga classes 1–3 days per week, during which I may be out of the house for up to three hours. Outside of that, I structure my schedule around the pets in my care.
