I currently work 7:30-3:30 on weekdays (in Grants Pass), with weekends off. Outside of work, I have a more flexible schedule, but typically have other errands to run and am home in the evenings.

Some things that would be helpful to know ahead of time are if your dog has any specific triggers or allergies that I should look out for, or how they are around other dogs during walks.
A typical day
When going on walks, I think its so important to let your dog explore all the scents around them for mental exercise as well as the physical exercise. If your dog is food-motivated, sometimes I also like playing food-games with them, such as hiding treats or kibble and watching them sniff and search for it.

I have been house/pet sitting for family friends and neighbors since I was a kid. I've always had dogs and cats growing up, and occasionally other pets including rodents, reptiles, and fish. Punctuality is important to me, and I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I love all animals equally and will strive make to make your pets as comfortable as possible when their owner is away. I will meet their needs, whether they need a walk, play time, or relaxing. I understand that when pet owners are gone, animals can be stressed, and I will do everything I can to help them be more relaxed. I can also provide references upon request of people who I have house or pet sat for.

We hired Lynzi and Clara for two weeks to care for our ten year old dog and 14 year old cat. They housesat for us and watched over our animals and even watered my plants. Our dog is pretty neurotic and usually even more so after we have left her for a vacation and our cat usually yells at us for a good hour each time we return from leaving her. It was so nice this time to come home and have our dog acting like her normal self and our cat never once screamed at us but came over and loving sat on our lap. That said a lot about the care they received from Lynzi and Clara. We received updates all the time as well as pictures that showed our animals were in very good hands. That is such a good feeling. Thank you so much Lynzi and Clara for your good care of our animals. We hope you are available again to sit with them when we plan our next vacation.
Lynzi is very responsive and diligent in caring for my dog and cat, whether house sitting or doing a drop-in visit!
