Pet care experience
Experienced Pet Sitter
I'm a sitter with over 10 years of experience and have a lifelong love of animals. I've always had pets of my own and have spent years helping friends, family, and neighbors care for theirs. My animal family tree has been a Lab/Terrier mix named Dixie, our cat Pandie, and later Archie, a Carolina mix puppy I adopted in college. When Archie showed signs of reactivity, I worked closely with a professional trainer, supporting him with positive reinforcement, structured routines, and calm, confident handling. That training taught me how to adapt to a dog’s unique needs and better understand their behavior which are skills I bring to every pet I care for. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide variety of pets, from energetic puppies to mellow seniors, including different breeds like a Shepadoodle (German Shepherd/Goldendoodle mix), Australian Shepherd, Springer Spaniel, and Collie, as well as adult cats and kittens. Whether it’s a quick walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay, I’m happy to tailor my care to your pet’s routine and needs.

Ratings and reviews
Lydia was amazing! She house sat for me and took such great care of my cat (and the apartment)!

Lydia is simply the best! I’d book her for every trip if I could. She’s a great proactive communicator and leaves our house nice and clean. She asks questions when she’s not sure about something, sends pictures, and kept Marley on his medication routine (he was healed by my return!) Once again I came back to a healthy and happy dog.

Lydia is amazing as always!

Thanks for another good day! Coquito loved snuggling with you. 🥰

Lydia was really attentive to my cat Punch Bowl! It was my first time leaving him for an extended period of time, and Lydia was the perfect caretaker. She eased my stress while I was away and Punch Bowl had so much fun when she was around!

Lydia was an awesome sitter! She was always punctual and went above and beyond for my cat, giving her so much care and love! I was so nervous leaving my cat for two weeks knowing she doesn't do well alone, but Lydia took such good care of her during my absence that my cat looked so happy and calm in the daily pictures, and I came home to a very happy kitty!
