Jack is absolutely wonderful! He is professional, communicates well, and very flexible with scheduling. We get a quick update after each visit, usually accompanied by cute picture. He also goes above and beyond caring for our pup - when she was having tummy issues, he contacted us immediately and even spent extra time at the house cleaning up accidents and ensuring she had a clean space to be until we were able to get home.

In brief: Jack is an incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable animal caregiver. They formed a strong working bond with our dog very rapidly, and have given him exemplary attention for the past three years. They are flexible and professional, and have been tremendously helpful to us! For more details: My wife and I have a mostly-heeler-mix named Beans, and as you might imagine, he thrives on a great deal of enrichment, both physical and mental. We connected with Jack through a previous employer, and began 1-on-1 training sessions with them when Beans was approximately 6 months old. Within weeks, we had noticed a difference. Beans could recognize Jack's name and would become visibly excited to see them. He returned from sessions happy and tuckered, and we noticed improved progress on the manners training we were doing with him outside of Jack's work. Jack gave us detailed reports (on their own-- they are just that thorough) on how Beans was during his sessions, on where he made progress and where he struggled, and any other observations on how he was that given week. As first-time dog parents, It was beyond helpful. Over our years of knowing Jack, it is abundantly clear that they not only know animals, but know the animals they work with specifically. They are proactive and sincerely interested in what's best for the animal, and it is not at all unusual for us to learn that Beans enjoyed a different session schedule based on his mood or energy levels that day. Several times Jack has been gracious enough to reschedule on days when Beans is particularly low-energy-- something they offered to us. My wife and I have asked Jack's thoughts and gotten their advice on all sorts of dog questions, from casual chats about eating habits to double-checking observed symptoms and getting vet recommendations. Every time Jack has given us thoughtful and useful answers, and often directed us to resources that help us expand our own knowledge base. If Beans could type, he would tell you that Jack is his best friend, that he loves them even more than peanut butter, and that they are a truly spectacular pet caregiver. And my wife and I would have to say the same. :)

Jack always takes such good care of my cat Gracie! Gracie is very picky about company and often hides for sitters, but she always comes out immediately and spends time with Jack. Jack is trustworthy, timely, responsible, and communicative. I will absolutely be hiring Jack again and again!

Jack has been taking care of our beagle multiple times a month for over a year and honestly I cannot remember how we managed without him! Jack is always punctual and reliable and makes our dog feel safe and happy when we cannot be home. Jack’s knowledge of dog behavior allows him to go above and beyond with a dog who may need extra enrichment. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful person to take care of our beloved pup!
