I am 58 years old and have had pets since I was 5 - I grew up on a farm raising dairy cows, horses, dogs and cats. Most recently, I have dedicated my animal loving skills to the 4H Youth Dog Project, running the Florida State Fair Youth Dog Show for 20 years and training our youth and dogs through day camps, week long camps, and local weekly training. Over the years our house has kept many family friend's pets for weekends or weeks as needed. I also volunteer at the local animal shelter training obedience and manners class for newly adopted pets and owners. Now that our kids are grown, I have decided to work part time as a pet sitter so that you can enjoy your vacation or trip without any worry as to the loving care your family pet(s) will receive.

I have a fenced in side yard at my home for off leash potty time, and a nice neighborhood to walk in for exercise as needed.

Lucia is the best! Not only fed and scooped litter but gave Walter, my friend’s cat, a lot of attention while my friend was in the hospital. So grateful for her care.

We were so lucky to have Lucia and family watch our Laborador! It was as much of a vacation for him as it was for us. Lucia took him out for a morning hike each day and let him take a nap afterwards. I received many updates and photos which were much appreciated. My dog received the ideal care and we could not have been happier!
Our Laborador is a repeat guest with Lucia. Our dog sure gets spoiled during his visits! Lucia made him his very own snack and took him on multiple walks. We were worried that he wouldn’t come home with us. Lucia sent photos to make us feel very comfortable. We can’t wait to plan another getaway and I’m sure our dog is hoping we do!
Lucia took such great care of Bella! She sent pictures and kept in touch with me each day. I would recommend her any time. Bella fell in love with her. Thank you so much Lucia!🐾❤️
