Safety, trust & environment

I understand the importance of keeping a routine for your pets so can play with them regularly, walk where they are comfortable, and provide all enrichment they are used to. I always offer a meet and greet before looking after your animal, so we can see if we are both a good fit for each other. The best thing about sitting animals is truly experiencing how each individual varies, and getting to know a whole new personality each time.

Information Lottie D. would like to know about your pet

If your pet has any special needs I need to know ahead of time, I’ll always be happy to adjust care to them so please just let me know! I am happy administering medications and providing additional assistance I have experience managing separation anxiety, administering medication for chronic conditions, and caring for senior dogs with mobility issues. I can also handle behavioral challenges like aggression or fear of loud noises. If your dog has food allergies or other dietary restrictions, I’m well-versed in managing those as well, ensuring your pet’s safety and comfort. I am highly capable and trained at administering medication, changing bandages and dressings, and any other at home assistance needed. Ensuring your animal is comfortable with me is my main priority, and I always offer a meet and greet before we start, to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Vet with passion for animals

Pet care experience

Looking for longer care/holiday care due to (finally) graduating vet school! I’ve been on Rover for several years and have loved every minute of it! I have kept all kinds of pets all my life and am comfortable with a range of pets and lifestyle needs. I have done a lot of work experience on farms and in vet practices so am comfortable working with a wide range of animals. It is important for me to gain experience with different animals so whilst I hope to help you as much as I can, it would also be a huge help to me to spend time with your furry friends. I have learned so much about dogs through this experience, and love to get to know each personality well, and make sure the care I give them is suited for each individual. My passion is animals and I take pride in caring for them. I walk everyday and am very confident in taking animals out on the lead.

Lottie is really lovely, clearly very knowledgeable and confident with animals, we felt completely at ease with her looking after our pets (and house!) Our dog took an instant liking to her and we got lots of updates while she was being looked after. 10/10 😀

Lottie (really) helped us with a last minute house-sitting request. She was quick to respond and made time to meet and understand the medical needs of our cat - and Lottie seemed genuinely thrilled to meet her (and there was an instant bond). We had frequent updates and photos too. Lottie's personable, empathetic nature and knowledge of cats really helped to put our minds at ease. We would whole heartedly recommend Lottie's services.
