Lori can care for
Availability
I try to keep sitting locations within walking distance. For bookings that are more than 2 miles from Peninsula Park, I will add an extra $5/extra mile/per visit to the booking fee to account for the extra travel time. I generally prefer to visit before or after normal work hours but occasionally, I can make visits over my lunch hour work, if necessary. I try not to book 60-minute visits. In my experience, cats lose interest after 30 minutes. Accordingly, if you'd like 60 minutes of sitting time in a given day, I prefer to book it as two 30-minute visits to ensure that the cats get the most out of the visits as possible.

About Lori S.
Communication
Safety, trust & environment
I do drop in visits with kitties exclusively. Upon arrival at a client's home, I typically spend the first five minutes letting the resident cat get used to me, whether that's through letting them sniff me, giving then pets, playing with a mouse on a string or just sitting next to whatever piece of furniture they are hiding under and talking them through their separation anxiety. Then I quickly take care of chores, which can usually be finished up in a matter of minutes. The rest of my visit I spend paying attention to the kitty (or kitties) in whatever form they will accept.
Information Lori S. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your kitty has any behavioral quirks I should know about. Mine likes to drag his favorite string around the house with him like Linus with his blanket. :)
A typical day
I am a master with the string on a stick. I've also taught my cats to play fetch and to come when called (for the most part). :)

Every cat is purrrfect!
Pet care experience
As the human of three cats, I know how stressful it is to leave them when I'm out of town. There's nothing better than knowing that someone is looking out for them, playing with them and sending me pictures of their adventures while I'm away! So, I'm here to pay it forward and provide the same kind of attentive pet sitting I expect for folks and their fur babies.
Reviews

Lori went above and beyond and was very flexible with us. I cannot recommend her enough!

Would leave 6 stars if I could.

Lori is such a reliable, communicative cat sitter and brings out the best in our cats! Highly recommend.

Amazing as always! Thank you so much!
