I currently work from home full-time, which allows me to easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine. I am very flexible during the day to walk, play with, and care for pets, ensuring they get the attention and exercise they need. In addition, I am available to care for pets after work hours, providing even more support and companionship as needed.

I have experience caring for senior pets, including two elderly cats, so I’m very familiar with giving gentle, patient care and paying close attention to their needs. Loretto was wonderful with my dog, Mapache. He can be a bit of a troublemaker and doesn’t always warm up to new sitters, so I was pleasantly surprised by how calm and comfortable he was during Loretto’s visit. Loretto was patient, reliable, and clearly has a great way with dogs. I would happily book with him again!
We had a disappointing experience with this puppy sitter. He initially agreed to care for a young puppy, but soon began complaining about how much work the puppy required. Within the very first day of our trip overseas, he was telling us the puppy was difficult to manage—despite having agreed upfront to take on a puppy, which naturally involves teething, chewing, and high energy. He also exaggerated normal puppy behavior, describing it as “severe separation anxiety,” which was misleading and concerning. Communication was poor throughout—he rarely provided updates or photos unless we explicitly asked. We received multiple long messages that felt like attempts to guilt us into finding an alternative sitter while we were still abroad, which added unnecessary stress to our trip. To his credit, he did assist in transferring the puppy to another sitter on short notice, which we appreciated. (Shoutout to Ethel for stepping in and providing excellent care.) Overall, we would not recommend this sitter if you’re looking for reliability and peace of mind for younger dogs.
Loretto is the kindest and most attentive DogSitter that I’ve ever met in Manhattan. He would always send updates before I even asked and he took care of our GoldenDoodle in such a great way. He would send pictures and our dog looked so happy. I’m glad that we found Loretto to board our dog for a couple of days. He’s amazing and highly recommend you book his services. Thank you Loretto!
