Critter Melt - My Heart w/Animals
Cat care experience
I've had several cats over my life. I currently have no cats in my home. I do have 3 dogs ages 2, 13, and 14. I've bottle-fed two kittens of my own over the years and many more during my time with the Pasadena Humane Society in CA and now with The City of Hot Springs Animal Services. Kittens to aged adults, feeding, loving on, and cleaning litter boxes. I can easily administer medications if needed. I'm available seven days a week and on short notice. Need to leave for an emergency? No problem. I've got your kid(s) taken care of as if they are my own.

I keep my dogs safe with the PetSafe wireless fence. This allows me to control the distance from the house they can go and has worked well for 19 years. They have a dog door to use at will. If your yard is not fenced, I will take them outside on a leash to do their business. They will be fed according to their normal schedule, have clean water, and be safe, comfortable, and loved while you are away.

Please, let me know everything about your pet so I can make them as comfortable and happy as possible. Temperament (shy/timid, separation anxiety, loves everyone, exuberant, food/toy aggression). Feeding schedule (is their food bowl kept full, or do they eat at specific times). Potty schedule (doggy door, puppy pads, how often they need to be let outside). Medications (type/frequency). Dietary restrictions, general likes and dislikes. Favorite toys and treats.
A typical day
Let me know what your pet loves to do, and I'll do it. I have one who loves to watch TV. She bounces around and barks based on what's showing on the TV. Some want to sit quietly and be loved on. I'll play fetch, even if I end up fetching more than the animal. I text photos of your pets and our activities.

Availability
I work full-time for The City of Hot Springs Animals Services (Mon-Fri 8-5). Weekday drop-in visits are available after 5 pm, weekend drop-in visits are flexible. As a house-sitter, I will give your pet(s) plenty of time and attention. I will reduce the daily rate if you don't require me to stay in your home overnight. I will provide the same time and care they receive from you (you work, go shopping, do activities, etc where your pet is left alone). I will gather your mail and packages and put your trash out on collection day.
