Highlights
Pet care experience
Former vet assistant
I volunteered as a veterinary assistant for about a year at an animal shelter in Oakland, gaining a great deal of insight into dogs' and cats' medical needs as well as how to help them be less anxious in what was a very stressful place. Walking dogs was my first job, and it has grown into taking care of them for overnight stays and developing close relationships with the dogs I have had the privilege of working with more than once. While I work full-time now, I love getting the opportunity to meet and spend time with new animals here on Rover.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I can occasionally accommodate dogs in my flat during the day, and take them on plenty of walks/breaks, but I mainly do home-based visits or stays.

Thanks Liam 😊

I've had Liam pet sit for my adult cat, Turtle, before and he always did a great job. This time, however, Turtle had the added complications of having a diagnosis for a skin condition right before the sitting: he suddenly needed new food and a daily medication. I felt terribly that it was all so last-minute, but Liam was incredibly accommodating and professional about taking on his additional needs. He kept me updated every day on how he was doing, and it was very reassuring. I came home to a happy, healthy little guy. Thank you, again, Liam!

We’ve had Liam watch our cat a few times and always come back to a happy cat and the place just as we left it. Definitely recommend!

Liam is a great sitter. He’s watched our cat once before and each time he was excellent about sharing photos and updates.

Liam went above and beyond to get here, my address was wrong on rover and once we realised, he still came even though it was out of his area! Banff warmed to him and seemed to have a great time!

Ghost is always hesitate with new ppl but realizes they are friends and learns to love quickly! Liam did a great job handling his sassy attitude and won his affection. Definitely will recommend to others
