it’s raining dogs!
There has never been a time in my life that I wasn’t taking care of dogs (and even a few wolves growing up)! My chihuahua-minpin mix Lo was an unplanned rescue (she was thrown out of a moving car in front of me) when she was about 6 weeks old. She’s 14 now and still a thriving terror in the absolute best way. I’m well-acquainted with the needs of different breeds, sizes, and ages, and fluent in canine behavior. Can’t wait to become besties with your beastie!

I’m detail-oriented and love a routine so I start with feeding (if medication is involved, it’ll be administered along with food unless otherwise specified) then change their water. Any necessary cleanup comes next, followed by exercise and grooming time.
Ratings and reviews
Had a last minute trip and Lea was able to step in quickly to take care of my cats. The cats have very annoying and picky eating habits and medications, but she was able to manage both of them and get them to eat, and get them to take their meds without a hitch. She played with them a lot, sent great pics, and the cats both seemed very content and happy upon return.
Lea has taken care of all kinds of animals especially dogs and cats. She is loving and knowledgeable, but best of all she has great instincts on needs and wants of an animal and it’s parent/owner. Lea was quite literally raised by wolves and grew up in a barn. She was taught to read animals but their body language. She will be an excellent pet sitter and anyone would be lucky to have her.

Schedule
I work remotely mostly over email so I’m very flexible in my availability. Visit times would largely be determined by already established feeding schedules and traffic. I’m happy to pop in for exercise/playtime, feeding, and cleanup!
