🐾 What to Expect | Scheduling & Cancellations Biscuit Break Pet Care operates on a first-come, first-served booking basis. You are welcome to enquire about as many dates as you need, whether you require a single visit, multiple home visits, daytime care, overnight care or 24-hour pet sitting. Bookings are confirmed based on availability and are secured once all required booking arrangements have been completed. 🗓️🐾 I will always do my best to provide your pets with the care they need, but availability can become limited especially during busy holiday periods, so I recommend enquiring as early as possible to avoid disappointment. ☀️🏡 I understand that plans can change and that life can sometimes be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or change your booking, please let me know as soon as possible so I can update my schedule and, where possible, offer the dates to another client. For bookings that have been confirmed with payment, cancellations or significant date changes made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to an 80% cancellation fee, as outlined in the service agreement accepted at the time of booking. During this meeting, we'll cover important information including: 🐾 Your pet's personality, temperament and behaviour 🍽️ Feeding routines, portion sizes and dietary requirements 🛏️ Their usual daily routine, favourite activities and sleeping arrangements 💊 Any medical conditions, medication requirements or ongoing health concerns 🐶 Any reactivity towards people, other animals, food, toys, beds or other resources 🏡 Home access arrangements and any important household information 📞 Owner, emergency contact and veterinary details 🎾 Favourite toys, enrichment activities, treats, exercise preferences and any activities to avoid 🦜🐠 Habitat, enclosure, vivarium or aquarium maintenance requirements (where applicable) 📍 The location of food, medication, cleaning supplies, leads, carriers and any other equipment required during your booking Every pet is unique, and no one knows them better than you do. The more information you can share, the better I can replicate their normal routine and provide the requested care they deserve while you're away. 💛 Your Meet & Greet is also the perfect opportunity for your pets to become familiar with me before their first booking, helping to make the experience as relaxed and stress-free as possible.🐾

Before your booking begins, we'll have a complimentary Meet & Greet where we'll discuss your pet's usual routine, personality, likes, dislikes and any individual requirements. My aim is to keep their routine as familiar as possible, helping them feel safe, comfortable and relaxed while you're away. 💛 Whether you've booked Pet Sitting or Home Visits, every visit is tailored around your pet's needs and may include: 🐾 Feeding and fresh water 💊 Medication support (where appropriate and within my training) 🧹 Pet hygiene and litter/cage cleaning 🎾 Enrichment, play and companionship 📸 Photo updates so you can see how they're getting on ❤️ Welfare monitoring throughout every visit Some pets love lots of interaction, while others simply appreciate a calm presence and someone to keep their routine ticking over. I always work at your pet's pace and adapt my care to suit their personality. 🏡 Pet Sitting Pet Sitting takes place entirely within your own home, allowing your pets to remain in the environment they know and love. I currently offer three levels of Pet Sitting: ☀️ Daytime Care 8:00am – 5:00pm Ideal for puppies, senior pets, pets recovering from illness or surgery, or simply those who benefit from company throughout the day. Includes continuous supervision, feeding, enrichment, welfare monitoring, rest periods, pet hygiene and a local daytime walk if requested. 🌙 Overnight Care 5:00pm – 10:00am Perfect for pets who don't enjoy being left overnight or who simply feel more comfortable with someone at home. Includes evening and morning routines, feeding, enrichment, overnight supervision, welfare monitoring, pet hygiene and a local walk if requested. 🕐 24-Hour Care 8:00am – 8:00am Continuous care for pets requiring company and support throughout both the day and night. This service follows your pet's normal routine as closely as possible while providing reassurance, companionship and attentive care from morning through to the following day. Additional home requests such as watering plants or putting bins out are also available during Pet Sitting bookings. 🏡🌿 🏠 Home Visits Home Visits are designed to fit around your schedule and your pet's individual routine. Visits are available between 8:00am and 6:00pm, and you are welcome to book as many visits throughout the day as your pet requires. Standard Visit 30-minute visits include: 🐾 Feeding 💧 Fresh water 🧹 Pet hygiene 💊 Medication (where appropriate) 🎾 Play and enrichment ❤️ Welfare monitoring 📸 Photo updates Extended Visits Need a little longer? Extended visits can be booked using the 60-minute rate per additional hour needed. Additional time is available if your pet would benefit from longer companionship, enrichment or more specialised care. These are especially popular for: • Multiple-pet households • Young or senior pets • Pets requiring additional attention • More in-depth habitat or enclosure maintenance Local Pet Walks Local walks can be added to Home Visit bookings upon request. 🦮 Walks take place in your local area, so pets are never transported elsewhere. To help keep both your pet and myself safe, I'll ask for detailed information about your dog's behaviour, recall, handling requirements and preferred walking routine before the booking begins. For safety, dogs will only be walked off lead in secure enclosed areas with the owner's permission. Where this cannot be safely confirmed, dogs will remain on lead at all times.

I’m the person behind Biscuit Break Pet Care, a professional, compassionate and continually developing pet care service based in Smarden and serving the surrounding local villages and Ashford area. 🏡🐾 With over four years of personal animal care experience, alongside professional experience within kennels, catteries, dog walking and pet-sitting businesses, I have cared for a wide variety of animals and understand that every pet has their own individual personality, routine and needs. My approach to pet care is centred around comfort, welfare, low-stress handling and individualised care. I believe pets should be given the time, patience and understanding they need to feel safe and comfortable, whether that means energetic playtime, gentle companionship, enrichment, maintaining a familiar routine, or simply allowing a more nervous pet to have space and settle at their own pace. 💛 I currently provide care for a wide range of companions, including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, reptiles, aquatics and amphibians. 🐶🐱🐹🦜🦎🐠🐸 Biscuit Break Pet Care is fully insured and DBS checked, and I am continually expanding my knowledge through further education and training, including comprehensive Pet First Aid & CPR training across multiple species.
