Hi! My name is Lauren, and I would love to help you with your pets and be at your service!! Whether you’re busy, at work, on vacation- you shouldn’t have to worry about your pet being lonely at home, needing to go to the bathroom, or you walking into a mess. For a reasonable price, I will take the most loving care of your pet in any way I can- with the available service Rover helps me provide. I understand that your pets are your family members, and I will treat them as I treat my own pets- with lots of love and dedication, and I will treat our business relationship AND you with the upmost respect and transparency to make the process and experience as best as it can possibly be! While I have experience with many animals, I've worked for Rover, Wag!, and Zspuplove- all of which work with dogs. I’ve worked with other dog companies as well (such as Out and About Pets in Northbrook, IL) and have passed a college course in which I learned how to train dogs (clicker training!). I excel at reinforcing positive behavior along with using classical conditioning. I always positively reinforce good behavior. All animals should always be shown love, and applause when they listen :) 😊🐾🥰🐶 Patience & building a relationship with pets so they can enjoy themselves and be themselves around me is what is important to me. I can tell you my success comes from one main source and that’s my heart. I promise to take care of your furry friend and to keep them safe, comfortable, happy, and excited! As usual, we felt totally confident leaving our sensitive girl in the very capable hands of Lauren, communication and care was great and our pup was so excited to see her.

Lauren was a DREAM! My partner and I have lived in Chicago for almost a year and haven't went out of town together yet because we were nervous about someone new taking care of our two girls. One is a bit finicky. At the first meet-up, the finicky one started loving on Lauren almost immediately. When we were finally out of town, Lauren sent us so many pictures, gave us consistent updates, and seemed to listen to every instruction we had to the detail. She also did an amazing job cleaning up after herself, where our house was spotless and she took out trash and such (we didn't ask this of her!) for when we got back. To top it all off, Lauren is one of those people you meet who just has a kind soul. We are so thankful we found her and will definitely be giving her a call first the next time we have a trip planned!

This was our first time using Lauren to watch our senior Golden. The photos she sent during our trip really put us at ease. She’s attentive to your pet and really cares. We’d use Lauren again in the future!

I currently have a very open and flexible schedule for animal services! I accept same day requests as well. Please reach out for drop ins, walks, and sittings.

Safety, trust & environment
When doing house sittings or drop ins, being attentive to animals is priority number one, as well as being consistent and keeping them on their regular schedule. I think one of my favorite parts of taking care of animals is pretending I’m their personal photographer 😂 I know when my dog is being taken care of and I get pictures and videos, it makes me feel much more at ease, so I love doing that in return for other pet owners. I live in an apartment with my dog and cat. They’re both very dog & cat friendly. I live in a pet friendly community with a dog park right next door!
Pets
A typical day
I will take your doggies to smell all the smells, be active if possible, and get in some major play time. I enjoy walking dogs in quieter neighborhoods and to dog parks, but it's all up to the owner what is best! For kitty cats, it does depend on their temperament! So it can either be cuddles, play time with toys and of course laser pointers, or just sometimes building trust with new cats until they feel comfortable around me. Gaining animals’ trust and affection is definitely one of the most rewarding parts of animal caretaking.
