I am currently working part time and mostly from home in a job where I get to choose my hours so would love to help however I can :)

We have one pet- Paisley- who is very friendly and good with dogs of lots of breeds, I would recommend our pups meeting before the booked service though to ensure they get along- and we have no children. We have a garden with high fences and when we have dog sat in our home the dogs have been happy and content here. I am used to walking dogs both on and off the lead, whatever your preference, and my house is a short walk away from a lovely park. If your dog is happy to be in the car, there are lots of woodland walks and fields to explore very nearby. As a fellow dog owner, I understand the importance of having confidence in who would be looking after your fur baby and so I am happy to follow any rules or routines that you have in pace with your dog at home to ensure you, and your dog, are happy and comfortable.

We like to know of any existing medical needs your dog may have and any particularities with your dog. For example, we have dogsat for a boy in the past who had not been neutered so other dogs could sometimes be aggressive towards him- this was good to know for our information before taking the dog out. We also like to know a feeding schedule for the dogs we care for and any information about routines we need to follow. For example, we have dogsat for a puppy who was being trained to wait for his food which was important to continue for consistency. We try as best as possible to keep the routine as similar to what the dog experiences with you and so as much prior information as possible is brilliant.

I will generally take the dogs I care for on two walks a day, one in the AM where they can explore the smells of the new neighbourhood and a longer physical exercise walk later in the day. I am happy to keep the dog on a lead or off the lead, whatever is your preference. We also have a fenced garden which can be used for mental exercise games with your dog. We have lots of woodland areas near us, if your dog is okay for travelling in a car, if not, we have a park nearby which is the perfect walking distance.

I have had pets of all kinds my whole life and my partner and I have just welcomed our own pup into our home- a little cockapoo called Paisley. Ever since I was a small child I have had the responsibility of cleaning and looking after fish, hamsters, Guinea pigs and rabbits. I have been a dog walker for neighbours and house sat for cats and dogs for friends and family for years as well. I know that the school holidays and the weekends are a time where lots of families struggle to get away or have days out because of pet care so I want to offer a solution, as a teacher who loves animals.

This is Smudge's second sleepover at Lauren and Paisley's house and he had a lovely time. Lauren kept us informed with lots of videos and pictures which was a lovely touch. Smudge looks forward to coming back soon
Smudge had a lovely time with Paisley and Lauren for a sleepover and I loved receiving all the photos and videos showing me how much fun he was having and how happy he was. Smudge cant wait to come again
