I work with dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes as a veterinary assistant, previously I was employed as a kennel attendant for two years at my local rescue shelter. There I helped maintain the safety and wellbeing of over 100 cats and 50 dogs at a time. Relevant dog responsibilities: -Basic grooming (bathing/brushing) -Enrichment activities (snuffle mats, frozen kongs, “sniff and find”) -Basic command training (sit, down, wait, paw) -Safe socialization for reactive and aggressive dogs -Experienced with food aggressive dogs -Experienced with all breeds and sizes (ranging from 10lbs. Chihuahua mixes, to over 100lbs. I prioritize open and transparent communication in regard to a client’s expectations and goals. I work with a client however is requested: whether a dog is allowed to freely roam, is confined to a specific area, or is crated.

Lauren provided excellent care for our cats - she was attentive to all their needs; played with them and made sure they were safe while we were gone. I will definitely rebook her and recommend her to care for anyone’s pets.
Lauren was fantastic!!!! She sent me pictures and kept my dogs happy! I think that I even came back to a cleaner home than when I left!! She is very knowledgeable about dogs so I felt very comfortable with them in her care! I would highly recommend using her, as I will myself again!
Lauren Archie has been a trustworthy pet sitter for me for over 10 years. She has always made sure my pets have all their needs met and makes them her first priority; she even stays the night to meet my dog’s nighttime schedule if we needed. Her love for dogs shows with how well she treats them and how much dogs love and trust her. She easily understands dog’s behavior and language and can cater to each individual properly depending on each dog’s specific needs for a comfortable experience
Lauren has cared for all three of our dogs, from 14 lbs. to 135 lbs., and has been instrumental in their training. She is genuine in her love of animals and especially dogs. Lauren is highly experienced in caring for all varieties and sizes of dogs and cats and is not afraid of the work involved in their care. She is very tuned in to what the animals need for interactive play and positive reinforcement. They all love her and there is no one in whom I would trust more with my pets. I highly recommend Lauren for your pet care.
Let me begin by saying I never write reviews, but I am also extremely protective over my fur baby and want others to be able to have the same positive experience I did when it comes to finding the perfect person to take care of their pet. Lauren has a gift and it was immediately apparent the first time she met our pup, Gatsby. He is usually timid with unfamiliar humans, but Lauren’s ability to calmly enter his space and make him instantly relax was amazing to watch. She has provided us with the best care and we have used her for daily visits and feedings. We have never had someone stay for an overnight yet but she will be our first call when that need arises because she has proven to be responsible and respectful of our home. Her love of animals is undeniable and we are so fortunate to have found her!
