Caring dog sitting & walking
A Canadian living in Hellerup, I'm in my mid-40s and have had dogs in my life since I was 12. Over the last two decades, I've taken care of dogs and cats in Canada, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, and the UK, including walking, feeding, administering oral medication, grooming, and, of course, snuggling. I'm great at getting dogs to pay attention and love all kinds of pups, from small to large. Whether your dog requires lots of activity or shorter walks and more cuddles, I have lots of practice figuring out what they need and mimicking their standard schedule. My partner (Tony) and I moved from Canada to Europe over a decade ago, bringing our Shih Tzu/poodle Sofie along for the ride. Sofie passed away about five years ago and the time still isn't quite right to get another dog — but we really miss having a dog in our lives! Tony is also in his 40s and also loves dogs. He's been known to cross the street to day 'hi' to a dog and delights in waving to dogs as they pass. I have experience with senior dogs, especially as Sofie was 16 when she died and I've cared for other pets in their later years.

Laura’s great with animals and I trusted her with my three cats several times. My cats absolutely loved her, and having her as a sitter always gave me peace of mind when I was away.
Laura very kindly walked our Cavapoo Called Charlie. When she lived next door to us , he was very timid and scared of nearly everything . Laura was very caring and gentle with him encouraging him to be brave . So much he loved going out with her . and got very excited when she called for him. She also walked my sons Havanese called Murphy who unlike Charlie was very out going and had a lot of energy, so needed a lot of walks l must say that a dog chosen for Laura to look after is a very lucky dog .
Laura loves dogs! She wants to say "hi" to every dog she sees, and she wants to take care of all of them. Laura and I had an amazing little pup together for 16 years. Sofie was well taken care, well feed, and very loved. Laura even learned how to cut Sofie's hair to make sure she could always see. Laura understood Sofie, and she brings that care and attention to every dog that we have the joy of playing with.

Schedule
I teach yoga (mostly the slow kind — perfect for at-home practice with a pup!) and I'm a writer. I mostly work from home or teach in the evenings and, when I'm not around, my partner (who works in finance and can WFH) loves hanging out with dogs.

Our flat is spacious (and our rental agreement allows pets) and calm (especially as we're child-free), There's plenty of green space nearby, including a dog-friendly cemetary across the street. The beach is less than a 15-minute walk away, several forests are within easy reach, and there are multiple vets nearby.
A typical day
Depending on what the dog needs, a typical day might include a long morning walk, some afternoon playtime, a late afternoon/evening stroll around the neighbourhood or down to the beach, all wrapped up with a short pre-bed pee.
