Hi, my name is Laura! I'm a Graduate of the University of Rhode Island and I work seasonally as a wildlife biologist. I have experience with lots of pet species including dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, and lizards. I was a volunteer at the Humane Society of Greater Nashua for a year where I was trained to care for, train, and walk dogs. I also have experience taking care of my friend's pets while they are away on vacation. I am comfortable with just about all types of animals and I really love big dogs! I am really looking forward to meeting some new pets and having a great time getting to know them. I am happy to work on some walking techniques that I learned during my time at the humane society such as loose-leash walking and basic commands like sit and stay.

Ratings and reviews
Laura stayed in my home and cared for my dog for 2-1/2 weeks while I was traveling. She took Dinah for long walks in the woods and they seemed to have a great time together. I was relaxed knowing that my dog and my home were in Laura’s responsible hands. She’s the best!

Excellent walking service and very reliable
Laura is an awesome cat sitter. Often on Rover, it seems the sitters care mostly about dogs, and they'll drop in and feed my cat but won't engage. Laura always went to find my cat wherever she was in the house and made sure to engage with her, groom her, and play. It was so nice to know my cat was getting some company and love while we were away. Always on time and was so kind!

I am currently working part time and volunteer at a bird banding station. Availability will depend on those schedules but beyond that, I am flexible.
