Currently working remotely. Available for house/pet sitting. Lost my dog to cancer at Christmas and want to spend time loving on other pets when their family is away. I incorporate obedience training on each walk for mental stimulation. Dogs need that to counter bad behaviors.

Note: Accepting new clients for house/pet sitting. I can provide references from clients booked privately over the past 2 years, as I haven't booked here in a while. I am a dog lover, all sizes and breeds. I have traveled all over to help those who need a pet-sitter (Miami, New York, Switzerland), needless to say I will go the extra mile. Exercise is key for dogs and I like to explore neighborhoods and local parks. Professionally, I have worked in a doggy daycare and for an animal rights organization in the DMV. Working towards becoming a great handler and have basic handler skills, so will do obedience training when I'm with your dog. I adopted a large dog after my yorkie of 15 years passed away, so I have experience with senior dogs and their medications. My work schedule changes from week to week, so I am very flexible. Looking to watch your furry friend and provide them with a walk when you need it. Let's meet up initially to see if our dogs will get along and understand what your dog needs. My dog does best with submissive males.

Lakisha did a great job looking after our dog, cat, and house. She sent photos and any notes about our pets that seemed out of the ordinary. She was very accommodating when our AC went out unexpectedly and had to handle the HVAC repair appointment too.
