I have a fenced in back yard and like to take dogs for a walk in the morning and sometimes the afternoon -- getting out and into the sun for a bit breaks up the monotony of my workday at the desk and having a companion who loves to get out doesn't hurt!

Information Kyle D. would like to know about your pet
I can't take significantly older dogs -- no dogs over 10 years old please. I get worried that they will have a health related event while they're in my home. Also, please no animals that try to run out the door if you open it. That would be super sad and since my animals have never been like that I’m not really on the watch for it. If you have a cat, please ensure that it has a scratching post as I want to keep my furniture intact. I think that’s about it.
A typical day
We will take a walk in the morning and afternoon, and on weekends go to the park. Sometimes weekdays. I sometimes chase them around and play gotcha and if they are the type of dog that likes to play rough I don't mind them nibbling on my arm a bit.

As I’ve done a few more jobs since I started I’ve noticed I just fall in love with each doggy or kitty I watch. I work from home much of the time so your fur baby will get plenty of attention and love! I'm doing this because I love animals and it brightens my day to pet sit. I can’t get a dog yet, so let me love yours! Another interesting that I found is that I work with very traumatized children in the foster care system, and I have noticed that the things that I would do to make children comfortable and open up kind of apply to the animals I watch as well and especially the traumatized ones.
