I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have hands-on experience caring for them in every stage — from energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong understanding of canine behavior, body language, and individual personality needs. I have experience administering medications and following detailed care instructions to ensure each dog stays healthy and comfortable during their stay. I’ve also attended multiple behavior training sessions with dogs throughout the years, which has helped me develop the skills to reinforce positive behaviors and maintain consistency with any training routines already in place. I understand the importance of structure, patience, and clear communication when working with dogs. Breeds I have experience with include: Shar Peis, French Bulldogs, Chihuahuas, Toy Poodles, Yorkies, Pit Bulls, Labrador Retrievers, and mixed breeds. I’m comfortable adapting my care style to fit each dog’s energy level, temperament, and unique needs.

Peter, Krysta and family were wonderful! They welcomed Maka into their home and took great care of him. It made our trip less stressful with the daily photo's and reassurances that he was behaving himself. Maka is a strong dog and did very well with their young kids. They loved on him and made him feel at ease. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Big Mahalo from us!
Krysta and Pete were outstanding! They were so communicative, and so inclusive of our dog Koa. We loved the multiple photos per day and daily updates. These two will definitely make your animal feel at home while you’re away and that’s the most relieving part of it all. My dog loves to play and be stimulated while simultaneously being around “his humans”, which I can tell from he updates that’s what he now considers this family! I will always look to board Koa with them in the future. Many mahalos again for loving on our guy while we were away.
Krysta and Peter are wonderful people and were so easy to work with! They took the best care of our dog Luna. We will always go back to them for any of our future dog sitting needs in the Kailua area😄 They were so thoughtful, kept us updated with great photos, and reassured us that we had nothing to worry about, given it being our first time using the app. Highly recommend!
This was our first time using Rover and we’re so glad we found Krysta & Peter! They responded with urgency and accepted our pup last minute! I appreciated the transparent communication to arrange drop off and overall Krysta made me feel so relieved that our baby would be well taken care of. Their home is super clean, plenty of space in the yard and felt welcoming. Krysta sent me so many pictures and videos with updates (which I love). I feel relieved knowing Tama has a loving family to babysit him for our next trip. Thank you for welcome our pup into your home and taking care of him like he’s your own. I’ll be in contact for our next trip 🥰
They are so attentive to the dogs needs. This was our first time leaving our younger dog and we were worried she wouldn’t do well. She respected the dogs boundaries, followed their queues and they quickly became family to them. Received so many pictures and videos to put our minds at ease. Could not recommend them anymore!!
Krysta and Pete were our neighbors and watched our boy for us, and we seriously couldn’t have asked for better people. They loved him like their own and took such good care of him. We’re pretty picky about who watches our dog, and we felt totally at ease with them. Honestly, we’d trust our kids with them too. Just really solid, kind people. Couldn’t recommend them more.

Schedule
My husband and I both work full time; however, we have the flexibility to provide potty breaks and attention throughout the day if needed. We’re committed to making sure dogs in our care are comfortable and not left without appropriate supervision or routine. We are available for both weekday and weekend boarding, and we do our best to accommodate scheduling needs whenever possible.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We have a fully fenced yard that allows for safe outdoor play and exercise. Our home currently has no pets, which means your dog will receive our full attention and care. We also have two children who absolutely love and adore dogs and are always happy to provide playtime and snuggles (with gentle, respectful interactions, of course). If your dog prefers a calmer environment, we are mindful and can adjust accordingly. We have a doggy door that allows dogs to go in and out freely into the fenced yard. However, it can easily be secured if unrestricted outdoor access is not appropriate for your dog. Supervision and safety always come first. If crate training is part of your routine, we have a crate available and are happy to reinforce whatever structure or training you have in place at home. Exercise is fully customizable — whether your dog enjoys relaxed walks, extra playtime, or more active runs, we tailor activity levels to match their needs and your preferences. My goal is to provide a safe, structured, and loving environment that feels like a true home away from home.
