I am a third year veterinary student here in Ames! I have worked as a Veterinary Assistant for 6 years now and have gained experience in handling and working with all breeds and sizes of dogs, as well as cats. I have also been petsitting for family friends for 5 years and have plenty of experience making pets feels comfortable while their owner is away. I am comfortable handling any dog or cat, with anything from giving medications to your senior pup to walks and exercise for the more energetic ones!

As I am currently renting, I am not able to care for pets in my own home. However, I am more than willing to travel and take care of your fur-baby in the comfort of their own home! I have been trained on how to handle all types of animals with care and respect towards them, and would feel comfortable assisting with any training you are working with them on. Most of all, I absolutely love to hang out with any animal and would be honored to care for your fur baby!

Kristianna was awesome! She is sweet, mature, responsible and proactive. A blizzard and a furnace that died while we were gone did not faze her a bit! We could tell she really loved taking care of our older dog. Kristianna gave us real peace of mind!
This was our second time having Kristianna housesit with our two large dogs. She takes great care of them, sends updates during her stay, and leaves our house very clean. I would recommend her to others and hope to book again!

Kristianna did a great job with my dog!! Ghil is not always super friendly, but Kristianna was super patient and understanding. I felt pretty good about it since she’s already a vet tech, but just watching her interact with my dog made me feel 10x better. She’s super sweet and genuinely loves animals—I couldn’t recommend her more!! <3
Kristianna has shown nothing but kindness and affection around my cats. She is incredibly passionate about all animals and it shows in all of her interactions with them.

Schedule
I’m a full time student, but have most afternoons, evenings, and weekends free to check on and care for your fur-babies! My schedule can be quite flexible and I can make most any schedule work throughout the week.
