During high school and college I worked both at a pet store (2years), a kennel (1year) and a vet clinic (4 years). During that time I would house sit, and do drop ins. I learned a lot about dog breeds, dog behavior, and general animal care. I can also care for birds, small mammals, reptiles and fish. I have personally owned at least 1 dog and 1 cat my whole life. Currently I own 2 dogs and 1 cat. In my free time I love to go to Point Isabelle with my dog. I live in El Cerrito and work in Berkeley, so I spend about equal time in both areas.

Kristi did a great job with our senior pitbull! He loves long walks and cuddle sessions, and she delivered. She kept us updated and sent great pics. Our guy had a great time with her, and her frequent updates gave us peace of mind.
Kristi was great! She took great care of Falcor and our place. She gave good updates and we would definitely hire her again!

Kristi is wonderful! You can tell she really loves animals. We let her know that she only needed to exercise our dog twice a day (his usual routine) but she went above and beyond, going on additional walks and doing extra play with him. She was very communicative, providing daily updates and photos, and left the house in spotless condition. Thank you so much, Kristi!
Kristi was amazing with my two anxious dogs. She was so patient and understanding. She not only soothed their anxieties, but mine too (this was my first time having a sitter stay at my house). She communicated with us throughout the day and sent lots of pictures.
Kristi is amazing!! Our family is new to dog/homesitting, and Kristi made everything easy and put our minds at ease while we were across the country. Our dog can be a bit mistrusting, and she worked with him through it. She really seemed to go above and beyond what we expected, and I appreciated her check-ins and responsiveness. We would love to have her back on our next trip!

Schedule
I currently WFH 3x week, so I can work animal care into my schedule. When I do go into work it is generally at my discretion so I am flexible.
