Availability
Caring for animals is my priority, dog sitting and walking is my full-time focus. I live with my husband, who mostly works from home and has a flexible schedule. Depending on your preference, we can either go out together on group walks with our dogs (2 adults, plus one or two of our dogs, with your dog), or I can take your dog(s) on a solo walk. Whatever works best for your dog. Your dog will be with humans the majority of the time they are here, receiving love, care and attention. A typical day for us, We usually wake around 6am, have cuddles with our dogs and feed them their breakfast. Then we head out for our early morning walk (usually 1 - 2 hours). After that our boys tend to sleep til lunch time. We usually have then playtime, followed by more napping. We then take a second walk before or after their tea. Then toy time and tucked in bed around 9pm.

As we have 2 lurchers our garden is very secure with high fences. There are comfy sofas in both rooms on the ground floor, plus dog beds, plenty of room to relax. If you like your dogs to be crated at night, there is room to add these. Our dogs sleep in one room, your dogs would have their own doggy bedroom (ground floor). We also have a room on the first floor for dogs that need a snug quiet space of their own.

Please let us know your dog’s usual feeding, walking and general daily routine in advance of meeting us. Please also let us know if they have any medical or behavioural issues that we should be aware of, so we can make their stay as comfortable and tailored as possible. We would need a meet and greet session before committing to a stay with us, to make sure your dog gets along with our guys and isn't going to be be stressed during their stay. Their comfort is key to a happy holiday with us!
A typical day
We understand how different individual animal needs can be. We will take time to learn about your fur baby, and get an understanding of what they enjoy and what their usual day looks like to ensure being with us is a home from home. We will play games, take walks and naps as and when required and will ensure there are lots of cuddles (or space if that’s what they prefer!)

Pet care experience
Both Tom and I have been around dogs all our lives and absolutely adore them. We live with our 2 lurchers, Lionel and Bodhi in Folkestone. I have a qualification in Pet First Aid and Dog CPR, and experienced in administering injectable medications. I am fully insured by Protectivity. We have extensive experience with senior dog care, sighthounds, and are used to looking after dogs of all sizes and personalities. We are fortunate to live in close proximity to the Kent Downs, and the beautiful Kent countryside, near lots of woods and walking distance to the coast. We love to get out in the fresh air as much as possible and would welcome your furry friends to come with us. There are also plenty of dog parks near our house, and we have booked private fields for dogs in our care, so they can really have a good run and play off lead. We only take up to two dogs at a time, as long to ensure they get sufficient supervision and snuggles. Walks can be solo or with our boys (who walk very well on lead). Lionel and Bodhi are very loving, friendly boys, with very different characters! Lionel loves everyone and wants to play. Bodhi is more laidback and is happy to watch playtime from the sofa! Both are good at sharing toys and snuggling. As with most sighthounds, after a short burst of energy, they love to snuggle up for the next few hours!

Just fabulous - real tender care and concern. Tilly had a great stay in a quite stressful time for us as we were moving just before her stay. She came back calm happy and her usual self. The daily pics and updates and reassurance that her insulin was done was amazing. Would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you!

Kerry and her partner were nothing short of incredible! Rory had the best time with lots of snuggles and enrichment activities. With it being so warm Kerry made sure to keep all the doggies in her care safe at all times and walked Rory at times where it was safest for him! We got updated throughout the day so we could keep up with what they were doing and we were never felt uncertain of where he was or what he was up to. Kerry also accompanied Rory to our wedding and was a brilliant chaperone to him! Kept him hydrated and in the shade so he could perform his best for the photos! Kerry, you are amazing! Thank you so much for looking after our little boy 🥰
Kerry is absolutely brilliant with our young energetic Labrador. You can tell she really takes care to get to know each dog she looks after, and pays attention to the little details that make them comfortable. Would absolutely recommend her!!
