Kendra has a genuine love for dogs and extensive experience caring for large breeds, having owned and cared for several large dogs herself over the years. Because of this experience, she is very confident and capable when handling bigger, stronger, and more energetic dogs. She remains calm, attentive, and in control while also being patient, affectionate, and responsive to each dog’s individual personality and needs. I have seen Kendra interact with large dogs in a way that is both gentle and appropriately assertive, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. She understands the importance of safety, consistency, exercise, and positive interaction during walks, especially with larger breeds that require confidence and experience to handle properly. Her reliability, maturity, and natural connection with animals make her someone I would fully trust to care for any dog.

I adopted a dog Kendra was caring for in 2025. I was impressed by the level of care she took to make sure it was a good fit. None of this, "Here's the leash. Good luck. Goodbye." She made sure Stormy was going to a home that would be a good fit over the course of several doggy sleepovers, sent her off with a huge care package, and checked in regularly afterwards. Kendra cared loved Stormy and monitored her health and happiness assiduously, giving her lots of cuddles, kisses, and walks. She transformed her from an anxious, depressed animal into a sweet, gentle, loving bag of fur and paws. I wouldn't hesitate to entrust any animal to Kendra for an hour or for the rest of its life.
