Greetings! First - thank you for considering me and my services. I have been a pet owner all my life, and have been the proud parent of hamsters, fish, cats, dogs, and a rabbit! I'm also a responsible house sitter, having been both a homeowner and a renter, I understand the value of not just your pets, but your possessions, your mail and plants, the cozy space of your home, the relationships with your neighbors. I have provided these services for friends and families for most of my life. I have always loved animals and I have always owned pets, been a member of dog parks and puppy play groups, and I volunteered for the Champaign Humane Society for many years. I have also had pets with medication needs, so I am experienced in that area. For years I also groomed my own dogs, and I know that each pet has its own needs, preferences, and personalities. Finally, I recently lost my dog of 15 years, and although I now live somewhere that does not allow pets, I need animals in my life! From my own experience of being a Rover customer for many years, I also know how important it is to pet sit within your home with no disruption to your pet's routine or surroundings.

Kelly was amazing! She was there when she said she would be there and if she was going to be going somewhere she communicated how long she would be gone. Provided plenty of updates and photos during her stay which I greatly appreciated.
Kelly took great care of my large dog and three cats in my home. She sent plenty of updates and left my house in great shape. When one of my cats snuck out, she went to great lengths to tempt him back home. I would book again!
I couldn't be happier with Kelly! She truly loves my dog, and it's obvious my dog loves her right back. The best part is seeing how excited my pup gets every time she arrives—tail wagging and so much happiness! It gives me complete confidence knowing my dog is in such caring, loving hands. I always come home to a happy, well-cared-for dog, and I highly recommend Kelly to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate sitter.
Kelly was a great communicator. She sent us pictures/updates while we were away and left our home clean and tidy when she left. We definitely recommend her!

Schedule
I'm retired, so I can be flexible with your scheduling needs for both your pets and your home. I'm both an early riser and a night owl, so whatever works for you also works for me!

Safety, trust & environment
I have been both a renter and homeowner, so I know how valuable your pets are, but also your cozy home, your plants, mail, and relationships with your neighbors. I have owned a bunny, hamsters, cats and dogs. But I also have an affinity for birds and reptiles. I have provided services for friends and family most of my life, now I just want to bring in a bit of extra cash to supplement social security. I'm also mainly a homebody, so if your home or your pets need extra care or a lot of time, I'm fully available.
Pets
A typical day
I'm an early riser so your pets will be up bright and early! Playing with dogs is one of my very favorite things to do. I do not mind roughhousing with a larger dog, I can hold my own. 😉 I can throw a ball until my arm is sore and my dog walks average about 2 miles. If you're fur baby is good on a car ride, I will happily take them to local parks and go exploring.
