I personally have a cat who has separation anxiety issues when I’m gone, so I know the importance of having a reliable, consistent and communicative sitter.
Information Kayce B. would like to know about your pet
If your pet has any special needs or is working on any behavioral training, please let me know, I'm happy to accommodate and have had plenty of experience with training and providing medical assistance. I am a bit petite so I'm not the best fit to watch large dogs with temperament challenges. Chill big dogs are more than welcomed though. For you, the human: If you'd prefer I wear a mask during the meet-and-greet or during visits, just let me know!
A typical day
I love to provide plenty of enrichment in the form of playtime, puzzles, physical exercise, and exploration. I'll always be mindful of your pet's preferences and communication.

Pet care experience
Hello! I'm Kayce. I am a dedicated cat care specialist with many years of hands-on experience in supporting felines of all ages and needs. I'm able to provide enriching playtime, keep up with behavioral training, confidently administer medications, and deliver specialized care to each animal as an individual. I have a deep commitment to cat health and welfare, and am active in the TNVR community. I'm also a volunteer for a feline spay/neuter organization, where I assist with making sure cats wake up and recover safely (and warmly!) from their surgeries. While I specialize in felines, I love animals of all kinds! I have had 8 dogs throughout my life ranging in size from a small Sheltie to four very large Saint Bernards. I have experience training puppies, rehabilitating rescues, and have provided palliative care to two dogs. I've been a dog sitter and dog walker throughout my life and provide the same level of attentive care for dogs as I do for cats. As someone from the rural Midwest, I've also watched farm/ranch dogs, horses, and chickens. In my home, I have two rescued black cats with special needs - Quark (severe PTSD and anxiety) and Maddie (amputee with a mental processing impairment). Both of the cats and myself have all our vaccinations. I am also bonded + insured through Pet Sitters Associates. – Specialty Feline Experience – • Struvite Crystals • Amputations/Physical Disabilities • FIV+ • Panleukopenia (Distemper) • Diabetes Management • Chronic Kidney Disease • Food & Environmental Allergies • Weight Management • Gastrointestinal Disorders • Administering Subcutaneous Fluids • Oral and Topical Medication Administration • Geriatric I look furward to caring for your pawsome pet(s)!
Reviews

Kayce has cared for our two cats numerous times and she’s the best there is. She gives one of our cats daily medication, and our cats clearly just like her a lot. She goes above and beyond in her care, we can’t recommend her enough.

Kayce was great with our cat - he absolutely loved her! She came on time, sent lots of pictures, and went above and beyond when we were gone for a full week. Will absolutely book again!

Kayce is the best and always takes great care of our cats. I highly recommended Kayce!

Kayce is an awesome sitter! My usually very shy and timid cats warmed up to her quite quickly. She shows a ton of care and passion for her clients, and is great at communicating status updates with pet owners. I really appreciate her sending a ton of pictures and updates during her visits, and keeping me up to date on any abnormalities. She’s very experienced with cats and had no issues following a couple of special instructions for my kitties. Highly recommend Kayce for any cat sitting needs.
