I am a former vet tech of 7 years, followed by cruelty investigator and now a local 501c, so very passionate about animals and welfare. I am certified in animal behavior and stress management. I am able to medicate animals with ease. I love all sizes and breeds. I love going on walks and exercising the dogs, but I also love snuggling on the couch watching tv with them. I worked in vet hospitals for 7 1/2 years and I myself have a 6 year old French bulldog named Miley who is a handful and a half, a golden retriever puppy named Murphy and 2 cats. I have been pet sitting for several years and do have references. I know some great spots for trails and if I have a swimmer, I know the place. It’s all about finding out what your pooch likes and forming a fun, safe, and overall happy experience for our four legged friends and also easing the owners worries while they're away. I am not home all day however my partner works remote and does very regular potty and playtime.

Katy went above and beyond with our senior Frenchie girl, Maggie. Maggie began having seizures in February and is on meds, but there's still a risk of seizure and she needs regular medications plus guidance/assistance because the meds make her loopy. Katy brought Maggie to work with her so that she could be observed carefully and when Maggie did have a seizure she suggested we have Maggie stay at her own home and be watched by her partner so that she wasn't stressed out by the drive each day. We felt so secure with Katy caring for Maggie and are already trying to book her again!

Katy and her wife were so great with Blondie. We could tell our pup was treated like their own and she enjoyed being spoiled. Katy’s medical expertise have us peace of mind with Blondie’s strict prescription diet and medication routine. Plenty of photos were sent which we appreciated as we missed our dog dearly on a week long stay and they were flexible with drop off and pick up time. We would not hesitate to leave Blondie with them again. Thanks for taking great care of our girl!
Katy took great car of our dog while we were away for a long weekend and provided us multiple updates a day.
Katy was wonderful with our two dogs Axe and Melon. She sent pictures and videos to us during our visit. We will definitely be booking with Katy again.

Schedule
I have a normal working schedule but my partner works from home most of the time so your pup will get regular breaks if boarded my house.

I have a fully fenced backyard and two very friendly dogs that yours can play with. I live on a 1/4 acre so your pup will have plenty of room for their zoomies.

I love working the dogs mind and body, it’s great for their confidence and overall wellbeing. If weather and parents allow, I like to go hike at Brazos Bend with my doggos and would love to take yours with us!
