Hi! I have over 15 years experience in veterinary medicine and pet sitting. I have experience with many different types of pets. I have both cats and dogs in my home. Dogs that come to stay overnights must be spayed or neutered, fairly well behaved, good with other dogs and cats. Dogs be housetrained or crate trained (puppies are exempt). Dogs Must be up to date on rabies vaccine. no extra charge for administering medications.I have a vast knowledge of common pet ailments, health, diseases and behavior as I worked for almost 20 years in the veterinary field . I also do visits to homes if you have cats or pets that can’t leave the home. I have experience with smaller farm animals like goats, pigs and chickens. I work from home a couple days a week and I’m home on weekends. On the days I’m not working from home I have a flexible schedule. I am very careful opening doors and always keep dogs on leash unless their owners have told me they are ok to be off leash. I work from home 2 days a week and am home on weekends. I come home for lunch on the days I go into the office and my schedule is flexible. Dogs and cats that come to our home are treated like part of the family. I do use crates if needed for safety when I’m not home.

Katie did a wonderful job watching our labs. They’ve stayed with her twice now, and each time she has been reliable, attentive, and incredibly caring. It’s obvious she treats our dogs with the same love and affection she has for her own adorable pup, Crumb, and they always seem to have a great time with her. Right before their most recent stay, one of our labs developed an ear infection, and Katie was kind enough to add ear medication to her care routine on short notice without hesitation. That level of flexibility and compassion gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We couldn’t be happier with the care our dogs received and would absolutely trust Katie with them again and again. Highly recommend!

I needed a last-minute dog walker in an urgent situation, and Katie truly saved the day. After exhausting all other options, I was incredibly stressed about my dogs and she stepped in without hesitation. She was kind, thoughtful, and genuinely caring, sent frequent updates, and shared lots of photos that gave me real peace of mind. I can’t recommend her enough. 10/10!

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule and can make visits most days of the week. I work from home part time so dogs staying with me will have minimal alone time.

We live near a park and often go for walks there. We do leash walks and car rides and fetch. There’s usually a dog or two at my home ready to play!
