Hi! Thank you for checking out my profile. My name is Katie, I have been sitting through Rover(Dog Vacay) since 2012 but have always been in a pet friendly lifestyle. I have experience with special needs, post surgical, geriatric, puppies (pre and post vaccination), medications, spoiled and unsocialized dogs. All ages and sizes are welcome in my home. We have two dogs, A 13 year old who is mostly indifferent but sometimes jumps in to play, and a 2 year old who will be every dog’s best friend. We are a military family newish to Florissant and love being a part of the community. I have an 12 year old daughter who is homeschooled so your dogs will be extra taken care of as she is the most wonderful assistant. We hope to be your next sitter!

I didn't have the privilege of meeting Edward, but Katie and their daughter were amazing. Did everything possible to make my pup feel at home in their home. If you're looking for your pups home away from.home, you cannot do better than Katie and her family! 5* all the way!!
Jerry is always super excited to go to Katie's house. It would almost be deflating, but he loves to come home too! 😉 She is great about understanding animal behavior, giving lots of love and sending pictures.
This was our first time using Rover, and Katie made us feel like we were dropping off our pup to familiar friends! Very responsive, receptive to your pet to make them feel at home, and treats all like they are her own. Katie sent us pictures throughout the stay, and was so accommodating when our travel plans went awry. She is absolutely wonderful, and we will be returning to her services for future trips! 10/10 recommend using Katie’s services!
What a great experience. They were kind and very professional. Katie has a lot of experience with dogs and is very caring and knowledgeable. Her home was clean and welcoming and her dogs were wonderful, welcoming friends to my loveable goofball boy. I’m so glad I found these folks. Can’t recommend them enough.
Katie took amazing care of my dog Ripley. She gave me many updates on her care to ease my mind. I definitely recommend her to care for your pets!
Katie was very responsive and transparent throughout the whole process. Pick up and drop off was seamless and she was sure to send several photos during the stay. She also quickly answered the tons of questions I asked before the stay. Will definitely book again!

Schedule
Pet care is my full time profession. I plan far in advance for time off and appointments and work around my clients’ scheduled drop offs and pick ups. If clients are late for pick ups, it may result in rescheduling that pick up to where it is convenient for my schedule. Saturdays and Sundays, I only schedule pick ups and drop offs for morning (7am - 10am) and evening (6pm - 8pm) Those days are family time :)

I treat boarders like I treat my own dogs. My 12 year old daughter is the best assistant and will happily spoil the heck out of your dogs. We pride ourselves in regular sanitation of common areas and daily clean ups of pet waste to keep dogs safe. Even with cleaning, upper respiratory infections can happen in a boarding environment and are the responsibility of the owners so please make sure vaccines are up to date and do not bring your pups if they are showing symptoms. For accidents, I also have my own Pet Care Insurance in addition to the Rover Guarantee.
Pets
A typical day
My daughter loves to play fetch and run around with the dogs in our backyard. We have an assortment of toys and puzzles available to our boarders. We are comfortable with all breeds and energy levels so if you have a dog that requires heavy stimulation, that is not a problem. Just let us know.
