Pet care is already a central part of my daily routine. I structure my schedule around consistent walks, feeding routines, play, enrichment, and quality time with my own dog, so caring for additional pets feels like a natural extension of my day rather than something added on. I work with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be available for walks, check-ins, daytime care, medication routines, and maintaining consistency for pets who do best with structure and companionship. I genuinely enjoy spending time outdoors, going on walks, and creating calm, engaging environments for animals.

Safety, trust & environment

I focus on creating a calm, safe, structured, and attentive environment where pets can feel comfortable while maintaining consistent routines and expectations. I tailor care to each animal’s personality, energy level, and needs, whether that means active play, enrichment, training reinforcement, or a slower, quieter environment. In my home, pets have access to a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, play, exercise, and potty breaks. I also have two friendly, well-socialized dogs who are accustomed to being around other animals and help create a welcoming environment for visiting pets. Safety and structure are very important to me, so all dogs staying in my home are crated when unsupervised or overnight to ensure everyone is safe, comfortable, and set up for success while preventing accidents or unnecessary stress. In clients’ homes, I work to maintain pets’ regular routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, exercise, and training expectations. I provide thoughtful updates, close supervision, and individualized attention so owners feel confident their pets are well cared for while they’re away.

Pet care experience

I previously worked as a veterinary technician, which gave me hands-on experience recognizing changes in animal health, supporting medical care, administering medications, and helping animals feel safe during stressful situations. I’m also a mental health therapist with specialized training in animal-assisted and animal-specific therapeutic work, which has strengthened my understanding of behavior, attachment, anxiety, and regulation in both people and animals. In addition, my family raised Guide Dogs for several years, so I have extensive experience with puppy development, obedience reinforcement, socialization, public access training, and maintaining consistent routines and expectations. That experience taught me how important patience, structure, calm energy, and clear communication are for helping dogs succeed.
