Availability

I don't work and I'm at home all day, so they are rarely left on their own and never for long periods of time. I walk our two dogs every day and we are lucky that we have lots of nice walks where we live. We also like a trip to the beach!

Information Katherine L. would like to know about your pet

Before looking after a dog, it’s really helpful for me to know anything that will make their stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. This includes: Their daily routine – feeding times, walk lengths, sleep habits, and any house rules they’re used to. Temperament and behaviour – how they get on with other dogs, whether they’re nervous, excitable, or shy, and anything that may worry or unsettle them. Exercise needs – whether they enjoy long countryside or beach walks, or prefer shorter, gentler outings. Medical or dietary requirements – medication, allergies, sensitivities, or special food instructions. Any likes and dislikes – favourite toys, comfort items, cuddles vs personal space, and anything that helps them settle. Triggers or concerns – for example, separation anxiety, loud noises, or specific situations they find stressful. The more I know about your dog’s personality, routine, and needs, the better I can make their stay feel like a true home-from-home.

A typical day

I love walking my dogs and we vary the walks we do each day, but if your dog prefers to be walked alone or just to snooze on the sofa then I can fit in with whatever they need.

Friendly, Trusted Care for Your Dog

Pet care experience

Hello! I’m a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience, and I’d be delighted to welcome your dog into our warm, friendly family home. I’ve grown up with dogs since childhood, and my husband and I had a wonderful Jack Russell terrier who lived happily to 15, and we now share our home with two lovely dogs: Otto, our friendly, playful Red Labrador, and Luna, our gentle, sociable Bedlington Whippet. Both get along well with other dogs and are used to having other dogs to visit or stay. I've got two boys who are 13 and 16 who have both grown up with dogs and love spending time with them.

Great service from Katherine. Very reliable and when I need to go away happy that she can pop in and walk my little old dog. Thank you again 5 stars!

Milo & Rocco had the best day with Katherine, playing with Otto and enjoying the freedom of the garden and on long line walks. We were updated throughout the day on how they were getting on and sent some fab pictures of them having fun, exploring the countryside, as well as getting some rest throughout the day. They were both very settled and happy at Katherine's, (and extremely tired when they returned home), a perfect doggy day care stay, which we hope to repeat.

The moment I dropped Manny off for his first visit, I felt very comfortable leaving him. Regular updates throughout the day and he clearly had lots of fun because he was exhausted when he got home! Would highly recommend.
