I’m currently a full time pet sitter, my schedule is fairly open and decently flexible. I ask no haggling of prices or discounts, as my time and energy goes into trying to provide the best care as possible. I do often have many clients and I always aim to fit past clients into my schedule as best I can, so if I am currently unavailable, don’t be afraid to try booking with me again in future!

I stay quiet vigilant and tend to try to let an eye on any pet I watch. I am cautious with certain things, such as leashes and harnesses/collars, to make sure walks are safe, and not letting any escape artists out when opening the door. For walks, I typically find a fun, quiet, safe route in the neighborhood for walks, away from crowded areas, busy streets, and dog parks. Please keep in mind that I do not have a car.

I would like to know BEFOREHAND if they have certain things that they can get aggressive about, any health issues, any medication they take and if so, a schedule, if they need any brushing or any food routines, if they aren't housebroken, if and when they need walks. Basically, any general information to help me care for them as best as possible and assess if I am a good fit for your pet. I very much appreciate communication, especially with my busy schedule, anything like written instructions and letting me know what times you have left/are coming back are all, etc. No breed preferences.
A typical day
I love playing with pets, it's very entertaining and a great way to exert any pent-up energy they might have. It keeps them happy, healthy, and tires them out, which helps keep them calm.

Hello! I have been watching and caring for pets ever since I was 11. In the past, I have taken care of my childhood dog of 16 years, as well as a family member's elderly dog, and countless other pets, both dogs and cats. I’ve been full time pet sitting for over 3 years now. vvv I have experience with providing many pets care, dealing with such things as medication, accidents, and other needs. I used to have two cats, that I've lived with for around 5 years. I also have had almost a year's worth of experience at a pet groomer's as a dog bather, dealing with multiple kinds of animals each day. (*Due to my busy schedule, pets with separation anxiety or that cannot be left alone for a few hours won’t be a good fit for the service that I provide) I understand that all pets are different and require different routines and care than others, which is usually not a problem for me. No matter what, I am willing to take the very best and loving care of your animal. Please keep in mind that due to my busy schedule and personal preference, I may find that I am unable to provide the proper care that an individual pet may need before or during a meet and greet. This is simply out of precaution for safety and well-being of myself and your pet, and I will let you know as soon as possible if I am unable to watch them, so that you are able to find someone else with no issue.

It’s always such a relief to see Socks so comfortable and genuinely happy with Katherine. That’s really all you want when you’re leaving your dog with someone, especially for a longer stay. This isn’t our first time booking with her, and she’s been consistently reliable, responsive, and just really easy to work with. She also took great care of our home, which we really appreciated. Katherine is great! She’s our go to for our cat, Poppy! Katherine takes such good care of Poppy while we’re gone. She’s very patient with Poppy, even when she’s being grumpy and shy.
Katherine is great! She’s so patient with our anxious cat, Poppy. Katherine sends great updates and took the time to make Poppy feel comfortable. It’s such a relief to know we have Katherine watching Poppy when we’re away!
We had such a great experience with Katherine and couldn’t be happier. Most importantly, Socks absolutely loved her — he clearly felt comfortable and happy, and even missed her when we got home (he slept in the guest bedroom she used, which says it all 🥹). This was during the super busy Christmas and New Year period, and Katherine was amazing — she even stayed through midnight on New Year’s Eve to keep Socks calm, as he’s a nervous dog with fireworks, which we truly appreciated. She was incredibly reliable, kept us updated with regular messages and the cutest photos, and gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Our house was left spotless — she even took the bin out before we returned, which was such a thoughtful touch. We’d 100% book again for future trips. Thank you so much, Katherine!
