Pet care experience
In the last decade+ I've taken care of half a dozen dogs and nearly a dozen cats for friends and through word-of-mouth, including a very senior chihuahua who was blind and deaf and needed diapers changed. I always had cats and dogs around growing up, including two difficult dogs from shelters who had issues. I live with an energetic pit-lab mix, and my parents' three rescue cats are still my sweeties. In the past I volunteered at an animal shelter, helping to socialize cats and walk dogs. I hike every day if I can, so if your dog enjoys vigorous exercise on trails, I can provide that too!

Kateri was a wonderful pet and house sitter. She cared so well for my our pup, gave her loads of love and fun even with all of our dogs quirks and needs. She was very communicative and we came home to a happy tired doggo. I highly recommend her!
Kateri is a lovely person and did a fantastic job watching our dog Maea while we were away for a few days. She was communicative and sent us pictures which made us feel more at ease. Maea really enjoyed her walks with Kateri!
Kateri was great and we hope to use her again. She stayed at our house to care for our cat and dog. She was a respectful house guest and gave us lots of updates on how they were doing. I really appreciated her patience with our cat and that she took our dog on some adventures!
