With years of hands-on experience in animal care, I bring a well-rounded background that includes: Kennel Assistant Work – Providing daily care, feeding, cleaning, and monitoring of pets in a professional boarding facility. Obedience Training – Offering structured, positive-reinforcement obedience training for dogs of all ages and breeds. AKC Hunt Test Training – Specialized in training retrievers for AKC Hunt Tests, developing skills in marking, retrieving, steadiness, and water work. General Pet Care – Focused on animal wellness, behavior observation, and creating a safe, enriching environment for all pets. Whether it’s basic obedience, advanced field training, or compassionate daily care, I’m committed to treating every animal like my own.

Katelyn was absolutely amazing with our 13 month old pup! He made friends with her dog April and the next-door neighbor's cows - and we got photos and videos of the saga every day 😅 We were a bit worried he wouldn't want to leave....highly recommend!

It was clear that Tillie was very relaxed with Katelyn and her dog, April, and enjoyed her time with play and walks. Katelyn sent many photos and videos which put us at ease. We would definitely ask Katelyn to watch our baby girl again.

Schedule
I am currently on summer break and will have plenty of time to play with the pups during the day! I am an agriculture teacher so it is nice to keep active during the summer.

We have 6 acres for animals to explore along with a Red- Fox Lab training to obtain her Masters in the AKC Hunt Test. We love being active and do lots of training and traveling to different areas for walks, swims and more!
Pets
A typical day
When watching pets, I love keeping them active and entertained with fun activities tailored to their personalities. For playful pups, I’ll throw bumpers or tennis balls, go on walks, and sometimes swims. I also enjoy giving plenty of cuddles, treats (if allowed), and making sure they feel safe and happy while their owners are away.
