Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine since I work from home full-time. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I structure my day to make sure the dogs in my care are comfortable, supervised, and sticking to their normal routines as much as possible. My dog Luna is also part of the daily routine, so caring for pets—feeding, walks, playtime, and cuddle time—is already a regular part of my day. I do occasionally step out for short periods (usually no longer than 2–4 hours) for workouts or errands, but otherwise I’m home and able to give the dogs lots of attention and care.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pup’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and loving home environment where dogs are treated like family. Since I work from home full-time, pets in my care receive plenty of supervision, attention, and regular potty breaks throughout the day. I live in a spacious one-bedroom apartment that’s perfect for small dogs. My dog Luna is friendly and will be around for companionship, so I only host dogs who are comfortable with other dogs. For everyone’s safety, I also require that visiting pups are fully potty trained and house trained. I carefully follow each pet’s routine and any instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, medications, and special needs. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and relaxed while your pup is in my care.

Information Kate B. would like to know about your pet
Please share anything important about your pup that will help me take the best care of them—such as their schedule, habits, allergies, personality, or any special needs. The more I know, the better I can make them feel comfortable and at home. Please note that I can only host pups who are fully potty trained, house trained, and friendly with other dogs, since they’ll be spending time with my dog, Luna. Please also provide your contact number and your vet’s information in case of an emergency. And don’t forget to pack your pup’s essentials: food, leash, poop bags, and their bed or something that smells like home to help them feel extra cozy. 🐾
A typical day
A typical day in our home is calm, safe, and full of attention for your pup. Since I work from home full-time, your dog will have plenty of supervision and company throughout the day. Mornings usually start with a potty break and breakfast, followed by a walk or some playtime. During the day, pups can relax, nap, or play while I work nearby, with regular potty breaks and attention. My dog Luna will also be around for companionship, so visiting pups should be comfortable around other dogs. I occasionally step out for short periods (usually no longer than 2–4 hours) for workouts or errands. In the evening we typically go for another walk, followed by dinner, relaxation, and cuddle time before bedtime. I’m also happy to send photo and video updates so you can see how your pup is doing while you’re away.

Pet care experience
I started my dog-sitting journey on Rover back in 2017 and had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful fur babies and their parents. In 2020, I adopted my own pup, Luna - a perfect Chihuahua–Miniature Pinscher–Dachshund mix. I took a break from dog sitting then so I could focus on Luna and her training. It’s been a few years, and now Luna and I are ready to welcome both new and old furry friends again! I also work from home full-time, so your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day.

Kate is amazing!!! I booked last minute after a friend wasn't able to watch my dog Phoebe, and Kate went above and beyond caring for her. I would bring Phoebe back to Kate (and her dog Luna) in a heartbeat. 💓

Kate was great with my little guy. He can be difficult, but she was able to get him to relax and have a nice time. I received frequent updates and photos which was great!
Kate and Ben are amazing!! Excellent care for my pup Maverick, couldn’t have asked for better. She sent so many pictures and videos of him having a blast and getting all the cuddles, the updates really help with the worry so I really appreciated that!
Excellent Care!!! Kate was fantastic in sending photos of our dog having fun. We knew she was in great hands when Kate mentioned how lovable and affectionate Cricket was. It was easy to tell they had bonded and knowing we found someone who would love our dog so I did not need to worry was very comforting. Her husband Ben greeted me upon my return and expressed what a good dog Cricket was. Ben even provided me with a sample of his homemade dog food for Cricket. Would highly recommend and definitely use again!
