My love for animals led me to start my own rescue, and I’ve been immersed in the rescue world for over 13 years. Along the way, I’ve also had the privilege of pet sitting for many wonderful clients and their beloved furbabies. *I’m certified by the Canadian Red Cross for First Aid for cats and dogs* I’ve experienced just about every aspect of animal care—from helping train puppies and walking dogs to supporting pregnant mama cats through birth to administering medication and even tube feeding dogs and cats recovering from surgery. My experience and knowledge have given me a deep understanding of how to provide personalized, attentive, and compassionate care—especially when pets need it most. And I truly believe a tired puppy is a happy puppy! I take great care in getting to know everything about your furbaby, whether they are big or small, to make sure they are cared for and pampered. It would truly be my pleasure to care for your pets as if they were my own while you’re away, keeping you in the loop every step of the way!

I follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, medications, and any specific care needs, so your pet feels safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I make sure they get plenty of attention, enrichment, and affection—whether that’s walks, playtime, or just quiet companionship. I’m very attentive to behavior and will keep an eye out for any changes in appetite, energy, or health. I also respect your home as if it were my own—keeping everything clean, secure, and well cared for. I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is happy and in good hands while you’re away

Our older dog has severe separation anxiety and has a hard time when my wife and I leave him alone. Knowing that Karinne, with her experience and knowledge, comes over to walk and play with our boy and updates us regularly gives us peace of mind.
Anytime I've needed a dog/cat sitter, even if it's last minute, Karinne has alaways been there. Having used pet resorts that had a negative impact on our crew, someone referred Karinne to us and we couldnt be happier. For context we have 2 dogs, 2 cats and a beardie. Karinne is knowledgeable, kind and caring and we always feel like she is caring for our babies as if they were her own. She updates us many times a day, send us pictures and makes us laugh and feel at ease. Honestly, Karinne is the best!
Karinne has been absolutely incredible with our Pit mix. Our boy tends to be high energy and gets into things he shouldn't and Karinne has been a life saver with her first aid skills. Karinne truly has a deep love and understanding of animals. She's kind, caring and always willing to help. I cant recommend her enough.
Karinne has been our trusted pet sitter for the past 10 years, and we’ve also had the joy of adopting pets through her rescue. She truly is a miracle worker. When we had to travel while our cat was about to give birth, Karinne was there every step of the way—making sure the kittens were safe, healthy, and feeding well. On multiple occasions, we’ve had to leave town on short notice, and Karinne has always come through for us. Her reliability and compassion have been an incredible comfort. She has a genuine, wholehearted love for animals, and it shows in everything she does. We can’t recommend her highly enough.

Planning
I’m dedicating myself to pet sitting on a full-time basis, so pet care is my top priority in my daily routine. This allows me to be flexible and fully present for each pet’s needs—whether that’s regular walks, playtime, feedings, or simply providing companionship and comfort throughout the day. I structure my schedule around the pets in my care to ensure they receive consistent attention, routine, and plenty of love while their owners are away.
