Taking care of anyone's fur-baby is an incredibly important and serious job that often gets disguised as simple tasks - "feed, walk, and take out." However, it is more than that! I try to clearly understand, know, and follow the instructions that owner(s) share for their pet. But, I also try to get to know the individual pet when I meet them. I try to assure them through pats, sniffs, treats, walks, and play that they are loved and that everything will be ok. I often talk aloud and/or read aloud to them because it helps them feel less lonely.

Any information about your pet is useful! Are there special needs that I need to be aware of (for example, needs a little support going up the front steps), specific command words to use, any preferences in walking routes, treats, schedules to be let out, household enemies likes the water kettle, or anything to make your pet's experience a lot more enjoyable.
Een typische dag
I love providing dogs with a variety of activities to keep them physically and mentally engaged! Dog walks around the neighborhood are a must, as well as visits to nearby dog parks, and even a visit to Bad Dog Frida for a little treat. I am biased to the Verona Prairie Moraine dog park but would love to explore others with new furry friends if the opportunity presents itself. Fetch, treasure hunt, trying out new tricks, and using doggie puzzles are also go-to's.

For all of my adult life, I have always taken care of people's pets. However, I have taken care of older dogs and cats with health issues who require extra patience and attention.

Karina was wonderful. She took care of our dog overnight and stayed at our house. Everything went very well, and Archie loved her. I will definitely use her again.
Karina always shows such care for my pets. My dog and cat both have health issues that require multiple medicines and supplements. She always follows their routine closely, asks questions to make sure she’s providing good care, takes my dog on daily walks, and sends daily pictures. I also come home to a clean house. I will not hesitate to request pet/house sitting from Karina again and I highly recommend her!
Karina is my go-to sitter for when I'm away on work trips, and she does a great job with my pups! Excellent communication and care.
