I have experienced or owned all types of pets. Dogs and cats for the most part but also rodents, rabbits, reptiles, and birds. I have been responsible for elderly, sick, young, pregnant, blind, deaf, and epileptic dogs and cats. I have aided in weaning pups off mama dogs and guided them to adulthood. I am currently enrolled in basic life support classes for cats and dogs. I am familiar with medical needs and routine schedules for medications and exercise. I am also experienced with rodents, rabbits, and birds of all breeds.

Kara took very good care of Kasper. When we went to meet her, Kaspar had his tail up the whole time and went to her first. Kaspar says he will be staying again!
Kara is absolutely amazing! We use her for daycare Monday through Friday for our boy Wesson and we could not be happier!! She sends us multiple photos a day and actually cares about our boy which makes us feel so at ease. We are so lucky to have Kara watching Wesson everyday 😊

Kara is absolutely amazing!! We felt so comfortable leaving our puppy with her. She had excellent communication and we really enjoyed the pictures… our puppy was clearly living her best life while we were away. ❤️
Kara was great! We received daily pics that looked like our dog was having his own fun while we were away. She provides good communication and easy to work with. The outdoor setting was perfect for him to run and play as well.
Kara was very accommodating to my changing travel plans and responsibly administered medication to my dog. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Safety, trust & environment
For the dog, there is a half acre fenced yard. I have the necessary tools and experience to handle all types of guests and situations. I prefer a free roam environment for my guests. I pay close attention to ensure that the guests are only housed with other guests that are compatible. I have set up a room for cats. You can view photo gallery for more details. I have the space available to house other guests such as rodents or birds. I am also available for drop in visits for a variety of pets.

A typical day
It depends on the pet. I will walk, hike, play fetch or another toy game. I like to engage them in different activities from their normal routine. I still adhere to the routine; I just like to mix it up. Usually, first thing is a potty break. Then, breakfast and a long walk. Then, it varies: playing, story time, meeting other guests, group hikes...
