I would like to know about any behavioral quirks and how they get along with other animals and people. I don’t have any breed preferences and I am totally comfortable with all breeds- small and large!
A typical day
I love walking and running on trails and know a lot of good spots around the area. If you have a fenced in yard or request that I take your dog to a dog park, I love to play off leash! I am a huge cat lover and will also provide attention, fun, and excercise to the cats that want it!

Hey, I’m Kara! I’m a Raptor Biologist studying falcons in Alaska. My fieldwork occurs in the summer, so in the off season, I work remotely and love to pet sit! I have 15 years of experience working with cats, dogs, and animals in general, including sitting through Trusted Housesitters. I am very patient with animals and love being around them. I’m very active and can provide exercise and attention for your dogs, cats, and any other pets you might have. I can even continue to train them while you are away! I am also very flexible and responsible. You can trust me not only with your pets, but with your home! I love to meet new dogs and cats and never jeopardize their health or safety. Kara did such an amazing job house sitting for us, and taking care of our most precious cat KOKO. Kara was detail oriented during our experience, and has a calm energy that our cat responded well to. I appreciated that we got pictures of KOKO along the way! Would highly recommend for those looking for a house /cat sitter :)
We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! She followed every single instruction we left and went above and beyond to make sure our cat and dog felt safe, comfortable, and happy the entire time. From the regular updates and photos to the clear care she gave both of them, it was obvious they were in excellent hands. Our pets came home relaxed and content, which is the best feedback we could receive. Highly recommend—she’s reliable, attentive, and truly cares about the animals. We’ll definitely be booking her again!
