Reliable Dog Trainer/Sitter/Walker

I have worked with dogs in all professional capacities including doggy daycares, boarding facilities, training facilities, veterinary clinics, animal shelters, and rescues. I have experience working with and caring for animals that are elderly, chronically ill, and have special needs, as well as working with young energetic dogs who need a bit more management than most. I strive to continue to improve training goals even when you’re away. Feel free to reach out to discuss how we can meet your pet’s needs together!

Kaitlyn has a structured and communicative routine and style that allowed me to feel free of worry for my dog's well being and safety as a first time boarder. She clearly loves dogs and I had a lot of confidence in her process. My dog is not used to a kennel type board situation but she did fine and from what I can tell had plenty of enrichment and space to move around. My dog needs a situation that is protective of her reactive issues and I had and still have the utmost confidence with her in Kaitlyn's care. Definitely will be returning to this boarder/trainer

Kaitlyn was great! She picked up my little guy and dropped him off, gave me updates throughout his stay, and was easy to communicate with. My dog seemed like he had a great time and I’ll definitely reach out to see if she is available next time I take off.

Drop-In Visits • Nov 22, 2025

Kaitlyn has been very good with our puppy, letting her outside to go to the bathroom and then play with her and reward for positive behavior (her experience as a dog trainer and vet tech is a bonus!) She updates us at each visit with pictures of our puppy and gives updates on how the drop in visits went. The only reason for 4/5 stars was because there was a scheduling issue where she forgot to cancel with us on a day she wasnt able to make it last minute and the puppy went longer than usual without a potty break (although ended being fine once we got home). However, she was very apologetic about her mistake, promised to not have it happen again, and offered a discount on some of the future visits to remedy her mistake. I appreciate that she took responsibility and sought to correct it the best she could. She has been faithful on all the other visits so far, responds quickly to messages, is polite and professional and I understand that mistakes can happen on occasion so I have continued to use her and would recommend her to others!

Schedule

I am a full time dog trainer and a relief vet assistant. I design my daily schedule around the dogs I’m currently working with and the specific needs of their owners. I do my best to remain flexible.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 2 dogs, 1 cat
No children present
Dogs not allowed on bed
Dogs not allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Safety, trust & environment

My priority is to provide your pet with the highest level of care in your absence. Pets in my care will be kenneled at night and have structured access to a fenced yard during the day. Daily enrichment, socialization, play, and training sessions will keep your pet busy during the day so they can rest at night

Pets

A typical day

Mental stimulation is an important form of enrichment. Sniffy walks, puzzle games and training exercises are a great way to help bored pups stay busy and burn energy while you’re away.
