I'm currently working only part-time outside of my home, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to play with your pups as much as possible!

Safety, trust & environment
I host dogs from 1-2 households at a time, with health screening questions prior to meeting. Dogs of all ages and breeds welcome, but given my home's small size, boarding is limited to dogs 75# and under. I love pits and bully breeds; they are some of my absolute favorite dogs. Like any terriers, they can get overly stimulated during play, which is why it is so important to have a human around to call for time outs! Play time is ALWAYS supervised, no matter the breeds of dogs around. Please make sure whatever sitter you choose understands dog body language and intends to fully supervise their charges - even the most docile dog can meet another dog they simply don't like - and left alone, this can cause trouble.

Information Kaitlin K. would like to know about your pet
I'd love to know your pets' temperament with other pups and new people, and their favorite things! What don't they like? What might they find scary in the home or on a walk? For boarding and daycare, dogs must be: *dog friendly. If your pooch is more selective with the dogs they can get along with, we might not be an ideal fit *utd on vaccinations, including bordetella *utd on flea and tick medications * spayed/neutered
A typical day
The dogs play in the fenced yard and indoors; my living/dining room gives them plenty of room to romp and wrestle. Couch potatoes also welcome! Currently open for daycare clients, but not a regular schedule--2-4 days/week I'm usually working out of the house, so my availability for daycare will depend on the day!

Pet care experience
Hello! I have been doing pet care for many years, having worked on and off since 2008 - my first job as a dog walker at Creature Comforts in Boston, MA. After college I worked at Fetch Petcare in Pittsburgh. I love running my own business in the field now and have been on Rover since 2015. I have previously volunteered at the (formerly) Western PA Humane Society and have fostered large dogs in the past.
Reviews

five star care, communication, and happy pups every time. thanks, kaitlin!

Kaitlin is a wonderful dog sitter. She took great care of my puppy while I was out of town for two weeks. He couldn’t have been happier and she sent just the right number of updates and pictures of him playing with the other dogs. It made my heart warm.
Kaitlin K. cancelled a booking 1 day before it was scheduled to begin.

Nala Rose Loved Kaitlin. When Nala first met Kaitlin, she was immediately drawn to her and started to kiss her. Nala is normally very anxious with new people and I was put at ease. This was her first time doing an overnight stay and I was nervous for her. When we arrived at Kaitlin's home, Nala was excited and she did great. Kaitlin sent me photos of a very happy Nala playing and relaxing. I highly recommend Kaitlin. She is a fabulous with dogs. We are definitely going to use her services again
