Pet care experience

Vet Tech Sitter with Experience :)

I have been taking care of dogs since I was around 10! I've had the privilege of volunteering at a shelter with all kinds of dogs who need love, working as a veterinary nurse learning the ins and outs of pet health, nannying a sweet bloodhound, and working at a pet boarding site. I became a dog sitter in my community in my hometown and started caring for all kinds of dogs regularly. It has become my absolute favorite pastime. I am comfortable administering medication, training, taking extra care of your senior pup, and working with aggressive/anxious dogs. I can't wait to meet and care for your dogs!

Safety, trust & environment

How I care for your dogs in your home is really up to you and your dog's preferences and routine. If you have an active dog, we can play outside, take walks, and do some mentally stimulating activities. If your dog is more of a couch potato, we can do a little exercise and then cuddle the day away. I am comfortable working on training and will accommodate what works best for you guys.

Kailyn did a terrific job with my Golden Retriever. He needed daily playtimes and everything went smoothly! She came over for a meet and greet prior to our first date was very caring, knowledgeable and trustworthy. She came as scheduled for the playtimes, sent photos and messages. She responds to our messages very quickly. I will most definitely book with Kailyn again!

It's important for me to know the level of training your dog has. Your dog's safety and my safety are very important to me, so I need to know any kind of triggers or alerts that might make your dog aggressive or anxious, including how your dog interacts with other dogs. If your dog has aggressive or anxious tendencies, I am more than willing to work with them but it is important that I know in advance. If I am staying at your house with your doggie, I need to know your house rules pertaining to your dog (certain rooms that are off-limits to them, are they allowed on the couch, etc.) Routine and unusual habits are also important to make sure your dog is comfortable with me.
