Having grown up in a multi-pet household myself, I know first-hand the level of care and dedication that owning pets entails. I began petsitting when I was 12 years old, and have greatly enjoyed doing such in the years since. Friends, family, and neighbors have entrusted me on many occasions to take care of their pets. Aside from petsitting, I worked at a doggy daycare for nearly two years, where I built genuine and deeply meaningful bonds with all of the dogs in my care. I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes, temperaments, personalities, and energy levels. I have experience with training young puppies, including my own. I am very knowledgeable in reading animal body language and understanding animal behavior. I understand that every dog or cat is unique in their own way and that building trusting and meaningful relationships with animals take time and patience. With this, I try to meet every cat or dog where they are at and adjust my approach where necessary. For example, with shy or timid pets, I like to give them the space they need and work slowly to build trust and confidence to where they are fully comfortable in my presence. I am committed to making every visit a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
