Let me know if your dog is comfortable with other dogs or humans and their reactivity to other animals/objects. For example, some dogs get very excited about leaves falling or chase down squirrels. Knowing these things ahead of time makes walks safer and allows me to provide the best care for your pup!
A typical day
I love to explore trails or parks so if there are any near by I’d love to take your dog there! My last dog Nikko loved to play soccer. If your dog has a special game they’re good at I’m all for it!

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with huskies and they are very high energy and active! I have experience with puppies as my sister adopted a chocolate lab puppy and I was over almost every week, including several different times where I watched him for a week on my own over the last year. I have also taken care of other small and large dogs and used to volunteer at Lucky Dog in D.C. where I walk ownerless dogs for free. My neighbor has relied on me to take care of her two cats for several different week-long occasions. I love playing with animals and will provide the best care because I know that our pets are our family. I work from home so I am able to watch pets during the day.

Julia was outstanding! My husband and I can find it difficult to leave our boy, but she helped make it possible. We are also new to Rover in general and we feel more than comfortable saying that this was a great first experience. Will definitely reach out to Julia again should the need arise.

Julia is amazing. She took such great care of our boy . Not only was he well loved but she also took great care of our house! I think it was cleaner when we got home than when we left. I can’t recommend her enough. I am already trying to fill her calendar up with future sitting!! Love her ❤️
