Exclusive Magical Holistic Oasis!
Only 5 minutes off of the I-17, convenient location for Verde Valley, Sedona and Flagstaff locals and visitors! My family and I have over an acre of fully fenced green property completely covered with grass, large shade trees, a true desert oasis! Inside the main property fence we have a smaller fenced in area as our "backyard," perfect for smaller dogs and for nighttime so all dogs can come in and out of our home's doggy door into a smaller secured double fenced area. My husband, Simon, our 2 young adult girls, Bronwyn and Miranda and myself have always had dogs and look forward to welcoming your pups into our home as if they were one of our own! We have 2 pups ourselves who are very sweet, non aggressive, trained and completely pampered! They are playful yet intuitive making them perfect for socializing with both puppies and senior dogs. In order for multi night boarding we require a "meet and greet" and a daycare to ensure your pup the utmost comfort when you are on your adventure. We cherish every one of our local clients and want to provide nothing but the best! Being raised in Hawaii I really cherish the feeling of "Ohana" and enjoy welcoming everyone in just like family. My family and I pride ourselves in understanding the nuances of dog behavior and nutrition. In the past I have worked at a local pet supplies store and groomer where we specialized in holistic nutrition and supplements for not only dogs but cats and bird too. I feel my experience has gained me and my family a unique perspective of the overall health and well-being of dogs and how important fitness and exercise fits into it all. At night the pups have "free range sleeping." Wherever they are most comfortable they can sleep be it on one of our many dog beds, couch, cool tile floor or even on my bed if that is their preference! If your pup is comfortably trained and prefers to sleep in a kennel, please bring it with them since we don't have any here. We have plenty of room to set it up. With the right dog that gets along well with others, I am open to request for boarding and doggy day care! It is not an ideal situation for excessive barkers or fence jumpers due to the neighbors yard being visible. Please contact me with any questions! I only take a limited number of dogs a day in order to keep a comforting environment in my home. I enjoy creating a 5 star vacation experience for not only my local clients but for all those visiting the area too! Juanita was wonderful with our 3- and 13-year old setters. We rarely go anywhere without them and were nervous about leaving them but Juanita kept in contact and they were happy and well cared for. Highly recommend!
Our Black Lab really enjoyed her day with Juanita. She has an excellent property and her own welcoming pack that made our Maggie fit right in. You know the day is going to go well when your dog doesn’t even notice you leaving after drop off!

Schedule
My husband and I work from home along with our adult daughter who is an artist and attends the local college and assist with giving extra love and snuggles to all the dogs in our care. When booking house sitting, our daughter does all the sleep overs and I am available 24/7 during the visit. Caring for our animals is a big part of our daily routine including preparing their raw/home cooked meals, caring for our senior dogs and making sure the younger dogs get all their necessary exercise through playing ball and long walks in our amazing neighborhood.

With any clients that have specific needs, I am always appreciative of detailed printed or hand written notes left with their food! I want to make sure your pups get the same attention you would give them yourself.

A typical day
On our property we have a water feature that the pups love to drink out of when they play and romp in the front yard. In the morning we get a nice amount of dew on the grass which gets them stoked as they roam through the back pasture. We also have flood irrigation so when it is time to water the property the pups get to play and romp in large puddles in the fields.. Check out some of our summer highlight in the photos! For all the pups that don't play as much or chase ball (and for those that do) my family and I enjoy taking long walks around our neighborhood. We live in a lush farming area and it is very beautiful here and everyone is so friendly.
