You have set your home up to be your cat's paradise, and I understand I'm a guest in their space. That's why whenever I meet a new cat, I always err on the side of slow, soothing and cautious when introducing myself. (My two girls are a little shy with strangers at first, so I understand that not every cat may want to say hello right away!) I want to give your cat as much attention as they want and also the space they need, and I understand that might be different at different times and on different days. My goal is to make your cat feel at ease and attended to.

Whether your cats are sociable and outgoing and need lots of pets, cuddles and playtime each visit, or if they're more on the shy and reserved side and just need basic care and respectful space, my goal is to provide exactly what they need each drop-in. (And I understand that those needs might be different on different days and at different times!) Each cat is different and their needs are so individual, and there really is no one size fits all approach. My goal is to get to know your cat and figure out how best to support their needs.

Hi, I'm Joe! I just moved to Portland with my partner and 2 cats, Pastel and Matilda. I have had cats my whole life, and to put it simply, my girls are my world. And I know your cats are yours too! Every time I have to travel it's so hard to leave them behind, but having a responsible caregiver makes all the difference for my peace of mind. It's that sense of reassurance and security that I hope I can offer for you.

Joe literally went above and beyond! Both my cats loved him, and he was very thorough and sent great updates and pictures! He also left my place so clean! I definitely recommend him, and I’ll definitely hire him again, especially since my fur babies love him already! Thank you so much Joe! You made this trip so much easier for us while we were away from our cats!
Joseph has been a caring and deeply responsible cat owner for well over a decade. He has both owned and cat sat for senior cats with special diets, and paid close attention to their care, especially their hydration and medication needs.
