I am currently a full time dog/cat sitter. Included in my services are dog training and walks or runs. Pet sitting is my primary focus right now. The rest of the time I’m either in the local mountains, taking photos, or riding my bike; I’m very flexible and I work best with flexible clients.

I provide the following services: •Overnight pet sitting •Scheduled check ups - which can include but is not limited to - feed, give medications, clean up, potty walk. • Pet walks • Dog training • Light house cleaning is complimentary but can be declined if it makes you uncomfortable in any way. Deep house cleaning is available upon request. *For overnight stays I ask my clients to give me details on how they would like their space used or not used. I am able to bring my own food & like to leave my clients homes as clean if not cleaner than I found it.

Please let me know if there are any behaviors I should be aware of, like resource guarding, separation anxiety, or nipping. If there are any ointments or medications, please communicate with me if there’s a particular process you have. I don’t mind overly excited or timid dogs. I am also able to help with leash training, or continue any current training you may have going on.

I enjoy playing fetch, giving facial and body massages to pets, going on walks or runs & socializing with other dogs and dog owners, if a client prefers, at a local dog park. For dog training I can work on specific requests & can also help assess where your dog may need assistance if requested. I also love to cuddle with and sometimes even groom the dogs I look after. Generally I work on photos on my IPad during the day and do occasionally walk another dog or two.

Hello there, my name is Jonathan, but I usually go by “Jay”. I love to take care of both dogs and cats and I am currently a full time dog sitter/trainer and dog walker/runner. I have a gift of being able to handle dogs with ease, despite anxiety, trust issues, rambunctiousness and other challenging behaviors. I have been on dog walking apps for 6 years as of summer of 2026. I also grew up with 6 dogs during my childhood since I was 3 years old but have taken care of several dozen animals including dogs, cats, hamster, lizards and Guinea pigs😊. I have worked with a variety of breeds and temperaments ranging from Golden Retrievers, to Chihuahuas to Pomeranians, Bulldogs, Great Danes and Huskies. I work well with puppies too & I also have experience in providing senior dog care. Feel free to request a booking with short notice, as I am always willing to help ensure the care of your pets. I offer leash training and grooming as well. If you have any questions about my services or how Rover works, feel free to message or call me. As for your living space, I’m a very clean person, and often, I leave my client’s house cleaner than I found it. - 1st time ROVER users can get $20 OFF when you book with me 😊, please mention this!

This was my first time using overnight stay with Rover and it was fantastic! Jay made me feel so comfortable and was very communicative with me and sharing videos of Holly while I was away. Jay had such a wonderful pure love for animals and really cared about the special needs of my little Holly. I would absolutely rebook Jay and highly recommend them for at home/overnight stays. Jay was so respectful of my home and left some delicious macarons for me.
