Hello! I'm Joie & my husband, Jason, and our daughter love dogs and have been a part of the Rover community for 4 years! We adopted our newest family member, Loki, in May 2025, and we would love to care for your dog-friendly pups while you're away. Our experience consists of 4 years on Rover and, prior to Loki we raised two large breed, mixed from puppies into their senior years. We are well versed in caring for dogs in all life stages of life, and can relate to how stressful it can be to find someone to care for your 4-legged family members. So, above all, we provide a loving home for your pup while his people are away so that you can feel comfortable on vacation knowing we treat your dogs like our own. With our new pup we can no longer provide a safe haven for dogs who prefer to be the only pup in the house, but we will still only take 1 family at a time and hope to meet more families who have pups that love to frolic and play with puppies! At this time we will only accept short boarding stays, 1-4 nights.

We felt confident while we were on our trip that our Augie was well cared for. Joie and Jason have a nice, calm environment, great for senior dogs like Augie. They sent pictures that assured us our boy was happy.
Excellent. We were very happy with Joie and Jason and their 'special' helper (their daughter). I could tell Prince was very comfortable and we will be happy to use them again when needed!
Joie and Jason are great with our dog, Ranger. They communicate, send amazing pictures that capture our dog’s personality and we feel at ease dropping him off and knowing he’ll be well taken care of. Thank you for taking such great care of him!
Joie and Jason are fantastic! They took the time to have us over for a meet and greet before my dog’s first stay to ensure it was a good fit for all. I really appreciated receiving daily photos and updates while I was away. My dog enjoyed full-time access to their large yard via doggy door! She came back very happy!

We'd love to know what your pup enjoys doing, as well as what their particular personality traits are and if they have any triggers. Please let us know if they are crate trained, and if they have ever boarded in a Rover home before. Also, their favorite places to get scritches!
A typical day
We have multiple parks and trails near our house that we frequent with the pups, and a large yard to play fetch, frisbee or just run around! We only take one family at a time to be sure your pups have all of our attention. We do ask for all drop offs to be after 7am and all pick ups before 8pm, and we require two weeks notice and a meet and greet with all new families to ensure everyone's comfort.

We have an ideal set up for dog sitting - Jason and I both work remotely, so we're home with them all day to provide meals, fresh water, exercise & ear scritches! Having a dog door, and large yard they can come and "go" as they please, but we do take at least 1-2 walks per day to burn some energy.
