I’m a student at San Jose City College and I work part-time so my time during the week is slightly limited. I am always able to fit in at least one midday visit, usually more but some days are tough. Mornings and evenings I’m free to visit your pups as much as needed or stay overnight!

I am very comfortable around all sizes and species of dogs. I have some experience with puppy training as well and am perfectly happy to incorporate any specific training you might have for your pup. I have experience with medication so chow time will go smoothly even if your pup needs some medication.

If you’re pet has any special requirements or needs extra care just let me know ahead of time. I’ve had experience with a lot of different special cases and usually I’m able too handle everything just fine, provided I have a heads up.
A typical day
Besides taking them on walks and all the basics like catch and general playtime I like to play guitar and sing for my pups. There have been a few studies that show music can really influence an animals mood and I’ve found that playing for them is usually very calming.

Pet care experience
I’ve looked after my own dogs since elementary school and started watching my friends’ pets around when I turned 12. I have absolutely loved animals (dogs especially) for as long as I can remember and it’s actually become a career goal of mine. I’m currently studying to be a wildlife veterinarian and am always eager for opportunities to care for and play with all sorts of animals. I have always loved dogs especially though and am so happy anytime I’m able to watch after them.

Joe was immediately accepted by my two scared dogs. He was very reliable and my dogs looked great after our 3 week absence.
Joe was helpful and great with my 41-pound dog, who had just had surgery. I could not pick the dog up and take him potty because he was so heavy. Joe is also personable, and I felt safe with him interacting with my dog. I could not have done it without Joe.
Zeus was well fed And taken care of. He didn’t pee in front of me upon our return (that’s how HE reviews pet sitters, lol). So, it seems he and Joe had a good time while we were away. Thanks, Joe!
