I’ve cared for dogs through friends, neighbors, and families for several years, including a week-long homestay with a Labrador where I handled all walking, feeding, and daily routines. While I now have two cats at home and don’t board dogs, I regularly help with walking and drop-in visits. I’m also very athletic—I play tennis several times a week and run marathons—so I’m happy to take dogs on long walks, runs, or high-energy play sessions if that’s part of their care plan. I’m patient with shy pets, confident with big dogs, and always attentive to their safety and comfort.

I always prioritize safety and follow your pet’s routines closely, whether it’s a cat or a dog. Because I have two cats at home, I provide care in your home only, ensuring your pet stays comfortable in their familiar environment. I’m gentle and patient with cats—especially shy or independent ones—and I make sure litter, feeding, and enrichment needs are met. For dogs, I stay attentive on walks, keep them leashed unless instructed otherwise, and follow your training or exercise preferences. You can expect reliable communication, thoughtful care, and plenty of photo updates

Jinhao was a pleasure to work with! He is very easy to communicate with and very responsive, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. He arrived right on time and it’s obvious he has a lot of experience and a genuine love for animals. My cat Sumo took to him almost immediately! Jinhao took care of all the essentials: feeding, fresh water, and scooping the litter, and also spent quality time playing with Sumo. I felt completely at ease knowing my cat was in such good hands. I will definitely be booking with him again in the future.
Thomas has been incredible with my dogs. He goes above and beyond to ensure this is a good fit! He is incredible at matching their energies and has been SO incredibly patient with my dog who is very reserved and protective at the beginning. He’s managed to make so much progress with him! He has been very communicative with us and asking and answering all the important questions. It has made a huge difference in my level of comfort, knowing I can trust him with my dogs. I really appreciate all the detailed updates and pictures he sends us even though I may not answer immediately because I’m at work. These updates ease my worries! He is very good with my high energy, big dog and they have responded well to him I also really appreciate the amount of detail he places in my written instruction and requests. I continue to look forward to his weekly visits with my dogs

Thomas was an excellent sitter. He followed my cat’s routine very precisely and clearly put a lot of care into every visit. His communication was outstanding, consistent updates, thoughtful notes, and photos that made me feel completely at ease while I was away. He truly went above and beyond, spending extra time to make sure my cat was comfortable and engaged. I felt very safe leaving my pet in his care and would absolutely book him again. Jinhao was wonderful! He kept updating me throughout the whole visit, which really gave me peace of mind. I loved receiving the updates and photos, and it was clear that he took great care of my dog. Jinhao will be your dog’s best human play friend ever! He’s extremely caring and energetic. So if you have a dog who’s very playful and need a walk, Jinhao will be your best candidate. Jinhao is also very patient, gentle and caring for cats. As a cat dad for two himself, he is in charge of all the daily feeding and cleaning and is very detail oriented.

Schedule
I work full-time during the week, but I’m very flexible for cat visits on weekday evenings as well as weekends. For dogs, I primarily offer weekend walks and drop-ins, with some availability on Friday afternoons or evenings. Since I care for my own two cats at home, pet care naturally fits into my daily routine, and I enjoy spending time with animals whenever my schedule allows. I’m hoping to work with both dogs and cats, with a special focus on cat care.
